A/N – Bare with me here, I kinda don't know where this fanfiction is going. XD I mean, I know that it's a Moulin Rouge inspired plot, but that's about it. SO any lyrics, quotes, descriptions, ideas probably came from the movie. And the characters and places and world belong to J.K. Rowling. I'm just meshing them together in a twisted way so that something new is created. So don't expect a normal Harry Potter fanfiction. And don't expect it to be like the movie Moulin Rouge (read The Great Hall for that.) Expect something totally new and crazy! The chapters will be divided how the movie is. Chapter 1:
Main Ideas
The magical world was different now. The "light" side had all but disappeared. There were only a few Aurors left. These Aurors were poor and had nothing left, but their hope and love of life and goodness. They were starting a small revolution.
The rest of the world was adjusting to Voldemort's ideals. Wizarding families wanted to be pureblood. They wanted to be rich and powerful. For instance, the Weasley family. Their youngest, Ginny, needed money and power to survive in the dark world. With the help of her brothers, she searched for the most rich and powerful.
Even though Voldemort was in charge now, he did not kill Harry Potter. He let him live. To show that even though his enemy was left alive, he was still all-powerful and in control. However, Harry is a nobody. He is poor and powerless in the sense of society.
The Burrow has been changed. No longer a happy home. It's the matchmaker of purebloods. Women, and some men, who search for the most rich and powerful display their talents and try to woo the men of their dreams. Fred and George are in control of the Burrow. Their little sister, Ginny, is the star. They are trying to get financed to do a show of sorts that would increase their income and maybe make more matches for their clients.
