Flash Sentry. A man in love with a pony. To be fair, she's a talking pony from an alternate dimension who takes on human form when traveling to this one… actually that just sounds even weirder. Anyway, Flash was, as far as he could tell (he was just 17 after all), in love with princess Twilight.
About a month ago at Camp Everfree, his friend (and ex-girlfriend) Sunset Shimmer, who's also a pony (don't ask) tried to help him get over her, and for a little bit it actually seemed to work. Flash did get over Twilight. In fact, for about a week, he was thinking about Sunset a lot more than Twilight.
That didn't last however and he began thinking of Twilight again. It started when he saw Twilight's counterpart from this dimension (again, don't ask) on a date with her boyfriend, Timber Spruce.
While Flash didn't really have any feelings for this version of Twilight, her similarities just made it easy for him to get jealous at Timber. But Flash knew that none of this was Timber's fault, or Sunset's, or either version of Twilight. No, it was jus him refusing to get over a stupid crush. So he tried and tried. But he just couldn't. That's when he got an Idea.
