This is my first angel story and I plan on writing a squeal to this story. So please review and I hope you love it as much as I do.

It was the forth night in a row that Cordelia had slept in the office. Even though he was gone somehow she had still felt close to him while she was there. As she tossed and turned the same nightmare took over once more and filled her head. There he was, Allen Francis Doyle, smiling up at her and staring deep into her eyes. Cordelia instantly felt at peace. Doyle reached out his hand and caressed her face gently.

"Cordelia turn around." That Irish accent she loved so much cut through her like a knife.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Princess, please turn around."

Cordelia reluctantly turned around and within seconds Doyle was right behind her whispering in her ear.

"Don't cry for me love, this is the way it has to be. You'll keep me alive though, I know it. Cordelia…I love you."

With that Doyle ran towards the light to sacrifice himself and become the hero he really was all along. When Cordelia turned back around she saw Doyle hanging from the light that was slowly killing him. Tears streamed down her face and she didn't know what to do. Nearly seconds later he was gone.

"Doyle! Doyle! Come back! I need you! I love you too! Please come back!"

"Cordelia wake up! It's just a dream!"

Cordelia finally woke up to see Angel standing next to the couch desperately trying to wake her up.

"Angel! It wasn't a dream! It was real! He was there and I could feel his touch, I could smell him! He was there I know it!"

Cordelia was sobbing and Angel didn't know what to do. He slowly sat down and put his arms around her.

"It's okay, I miss him too. This is just going to take some time." Angel explained.

"No! I am supposed to save him. I have to do something. He is counting on me angel. He told me I would keep him alive!"

Angel didn't know how else to comfort her especially when he was feeling the same pain she was. So he let her cry on his shoulder knowing that soon it would pass just like all the previous nights.
