A little something I wrote for a person on ASN who believes in the Xigxas theory.

-

Xigbar is one hundred percent positive that he is not a winner.

But that is what the little wooden stick on his pillow says - and sometimes, you need to accept things the way they are; the way they were meant to be.

Like the way Roxas (Or maybe Ven? It would get so hard to tell who was who sometimes) walked in and out of his life.

Sighing, he reaches for the small stick with just the slightest bit of hesitation. How could he possibly be a winner after he managed to fail both of them? Now Roxas and Ven were gone – and Superior knows what happened to them.

What would've happened had he found out that some sort of terrible fate had indeed befallen Roxas? Disintegration. Set aflame by a stray fire spell. Mobbed by a pack of rogue heartless. Gone, gone, gone. Would his emotions come rushing back to him, then? Like waves of water churning beyond a sealed gate, awaiting release? Would…he be real?

Snorting, he chides himself for thinking upon the defection in too much detail and snaps the stick in half.

So much for being a winner.
