Story for ThatBadAuthor


The blond stared in boredom at the transparent doors, elbow on the counter supporting his head. He sighed, pursing his lips in thought, 'Why do I even come here?'

Suddenly the bell above the door rung and she walked in, 'Ah, now I remember.'

Her similar golden locks, dawned in two child-like pigtails, pounced lightly on her shoulders as she walked towards him. She was nicely clad today; tank top showing just the right amount of skin – if you know what he means- pushed inside a high waist shorts –again showing just the right amount of skin- accompanied by suspenders, small jeans shoulder bag, and flip flops on her feet. All he could say was thank god for the summer.

"Hi!" she greeted cheerfully, like she always did, and rounded the counter into the employees' room, like she always did, and then returning to situated herself beside him, happy and smiling and oh so cheerful, like she always did.

"How was your weekend", she'd start, "It was boring as usually without you", he'd flirt, and they would just sit there, talking and taking in each other's presence, until customers would enter the music store. From 9 am until 4 pm; they would sit and wait.

Oh yes. They would just sit, and wait...
