Setting the scene: Harry is six years old locked in his cupboard. He is alone and afraid and he cries for his parents

I promise to be silent

I promise to be patient

I promise to be observant

I promise to be clean

I promise I won't complain

I promise I won't be cruel

I promise I will bear the pain

I promise to be quick

I promise to be helpful

I promised to be polite

I promise to be insightful

I promise to not be a freak

I promise not to do bad stuff

I promise to make you proud

I promise to make you glad

I promise to take my punishment

I promise to take the blame

I promise to be loyal to you

I promise to never to make you me to claim

I promise to be brave

I primise to take it like a man

I promise not to say a word

I promise to help all I can

I promise not laugh

I promise I promise not to cry

I promise to want anything

I promise to lie down to die

I promise to be a slave

I promise not to talk

I promise not to hurt you

I promise to stay alone

I promise I won't leave

I promise to believe you

I promise not to follow my dreams

But please Mum and Dad don't leave me here.
