All Mapleshade wanted was love. She had a mate in Thunderclan, but he threw her away like a piece of crowfood, and fell for that Riverclan she-cat. She only wanted happiness. And when she wanted to find revenge, she was locked in the Dark forest. The Starclan cats want to let her have another chance. But at the same time, danger is coming. So I have a special treat for you ALL! So before Christmas and New years, I wanted to upload this story I forgot to upload a long time ago, so this one's actually better!. (I know Mapleshade died from the dark forest battle but not in this story)

Mapleshade's Redemption

Mapleshade walked around the dark forest, and noticing how empty it was. Tigerstar is gone, Snowtuft, Hawkfrost,Darkstripe, Brokenstar, and so many others. Thats when Mapleshade's heart snapped. She never wanted to be evil. Her mate dropped her for that...that riverclan cat! It's not her fault that she was heart broken. She ran as fast as she could to the border of the Dark forest and Starclan. Tears welled down her cheek. Across the border, she saw two sparkling apprentices tussling and play-fighting. Fresh air blew onto Mapleshade, and that hurt her even more. They were living happily, paradise, she was living in a ugly dump. Suddenly she saw five cats appear on the other side of the border. As she tried to cross, a imaginary wall sent Mapleshade reeling back.

"Ah, Mapleshade, We've been expecting you."

Mapleshade glanced at the cat, his jaw crooked and tongue lolling out.

"C-Crookedstar!"

"Yes. We have a special message for you. We, Starclan has decided to give you a second chance. To let you have love, kits, happiness, and a chance to redeem yourself. Mapleshade's eyes welled up again. Why was she feeling so soft? Maybe that was her true nature, to be gentle and caring.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!"

Crookedstar's eyes seemed to darken.

"Remember, this is your last chance. Don't let your descendants manipulate you."

Mapleshade's surroundings faded away, and she felt like she was being teared away, like her life was being stripped away.

She screamed in terror. Was something going wrong! Something was going wrong. She hadn't felt like this ever. Not even when she was killed slowly and painfully.

She felt the pain fade away, but Mapleshade slid into unconsciousness.
