The ball went strait into Jacks hands. come on Jack you've done this millions of times, two steps back... scan the field... find a receiver... come on Jack just throw the ball. Jack lifted his arm and he felt the ball leaving his hand at at least 70 miles per hour and...

Race POV

Race knew this play. He'd done it hundreds of times. HIKE! Run. He had to catch this ball. A few more feet. I don't know if I can do this. Race turned around and BAM. He looked down- He'd caught it oh man I caught it. oh no Run Race you gotta run.

40 yards, 20 seconds just run

30 yards, 14 seconds faster you have to make this touchdown

20 yards, 9 seconds just keep running

10 yards, 7 seconds come on Race go faster

5 yards, 4 seconds

1 yard, 2 seconds almost there run

Race closed his eyes here it came

That was the whistle. did he make it. Race looked down where was he. was this... this was the end zone. He looked at the score board did he... there was the score 35-41. they had one Race made it. Race felt relief wash over him, relief and pride. "Race" Race turned around and enveloped him in a hug. "That was awesome, Buddy" "I couldn't have done it without you Jack" by this time the rest of the team showed up in the end zone. everyone was congratulating him and Race knew no one would give him a break for probably the whole week. the cheer of the crowds was overwhelming but, well he didn't know the word for it, but he knew one thing, he was exhausted.
