For You Only, a harry potter fanfic

Okay, so this is my first fanfiction ever to be publish and I just wanted to say from the start: I'm from Sweden and therefore my English maybe will suck (but please bear with me, at least I'm trying :). Anyway, so this is a songfic of the song 'Only for you' by Trading Yesterday and that means I don't own the song. And I don't own the characters of the story either, their JK's as we all know. I just own the idea I guess. But I won't keep you long now, I hope you will enjoy and please comment on what I can do better so I can take that with me to (maybe) upcoming fanfictions :3

Blinding darkness surrounds me

Darkness that was what he found when he slowly opened his eyes. After a moment a person started to take form in front of him, at first he couldn't tell who it was but then the eyes of the person got clear; emerald green. The pair of eyes stared at him; he tried to call her name but couldn't make any sound so he reached out an arm to touch her and when he did she turned around and walked away.

There's a hunger that's slowly growing

Chasing shadows, but never knowing

If all that I have done is keeping me from you

Can the arms of mercy bring rescue

To return to you

He followed her, trying to call her name but every time he did it seemed like the word got caught in his troth. She just kept on walking and he followed her for what seemed like days, weeks, almost years and with every step he felt the angst and longing she left him to bear with in himself.

But I'm so far

So far from home

And with every step he took it felt like she took two, like she slipped away from him even more with every step But he just couldn't bring himself to stop, to see if she also stopped if he did, if she maybe turned back to him and maybe, just maybe could once again smile at him.

Keep on running farther, faster

Keep on searching for this haunting has an answer

And I know you will find me in orbit

For I am breathing only for this

Instead he speeded up his steps a bit so he would get to her faster, but as he did she also moved faster. Then she suddenly stopped with her back turned to him, he slowed down a bit but continued walking forwards her; then he stopped right in front of her. He tried again to call her name and even though he couldn't hear it she seemed to do as she turned to face him. She didn't smile and her eyes looked straight at his face as tears slide down her cheeks. He reached out a hand to brush them away and as he touched her, she slowly vanished.

For you only

Severus awoke with a tug, shot opening his eyes and staring out in the darkness of his bedroom. He sat up in the bed after recover himself a bit, but he still breathed heavily and shook. He brought his hands up to his head and supported the head in them. He closed his eyes for a moment but soon opened them again as the picture of the woman's sad face was fresh on his memory.

But I'm so far

So far from home

After a few minutes of just sitting in his bed with his head in his hands he turned his head slightly too look at the clock at the nightstand. 4.30 The clock read and he breathed out in frustration before he lay back down in the bed. For a long moment he just looked up at the ceiling.

"I'm sorry" He whispered out in the dark, it sounded heavy and regretfu. Then he closed his eyes and breathed out before he uttered one more word and then fell back asleep.
