My characters name is Monkey.D.Percy and he takes a similar path to luffy he has same goals and same childhood but he recieves different fruit. Percy goes about being a pirate in a little bit of a different way, he is smarter basically. Percy tries to be like Shanks where he talks softly but carries a big stick.
Appearance- he looks like luffy but his shirt and ribbion are blue and his straw hat is white and has a more lean muscle mass unlike toothpick luffy.
Chapter 1: Setting off. Alvida and Coby.
Percy is on a ship (equivalent size and layout to going marry) with a figure head of a black griffin in the docks setting stuff up with a bunch of people on the boat with him going on and off setting down barrels and boxes. A random person ask "hey all the rations are set Percy. I still can't believe you 'saved' enough berries to get this bad boy". He responds "thanks guys appreciate it". Group of people on docks say "we are gonna miss you". The group of people step off boat and on docks. Makino and mayor both say their goodbyes. Percy gets everything ready and leaves the docks waving back at the people. He sets the sails and raises the flag. The flag has a white straw hat and a blue ribbion. Percy is staring at it And a flashback occurs where Makino has the flag layed out on the diner floor and she says "are you sure you want your flag to be like this, you can't change it once you start" Percy responds with "I owe everything to Shanks, so I want to pay homage by putting the hat he gave me on my flag"she responds "okay then".
Flashback ends. Percy looks back and his town is out of site. He walks over to the front of his ship and he steps on a piece of wood flooring and it makes a creek, he looks down and says "that's gonna annoy the shit out of me". He walks to the figure head and lays on it staring at the open blue sea. He takes a deep breath and shouts "PIRATE KING, THATS ME" he lays back down and starts to rest "I set my coridinents to shells town so I should be able to make some money there". Percy starts fiddling with his hat and he has a flash back of when he was a kid.

The way luffy got his fruit is the exact same way Percy got his, including what happened to Shanks. He has a flashback of when he ate the goru goru no mi and Shanks said "YOU DUMB ASS, THAT DEVIL FRUIT WAS WORTH BILLION'S!! End flashback.
Percy starts laughing and says I can't swim anymore but Shanks voice appears in his head "the fruit you just ate is extremely powerful but hard to control, it allows you to create, manipulate and transform into lightning. Making you a lightning human". Percy starts laughing again. He jumps off the dragon figure and back on the ship and he looks ahead and sees two ships, that are right next to each other and hears people screaming and he notices a pirate flag and he says "BINGO!" He immediately starts running around and says "full speed ahead", he stupidly realizes that he has no crew mates "damm, I forgot about that". He finally gets to the boat to the others and sets his anchor. "I hope they didn't notice me" he says while staring at a bunch of pirates and one cat ugly women while the sound of the anchor chain rattling and sinking is going on in the background. The anchor finally hits the ground and he steps on the non pirate vessel saying "man I hope that fat lady isn't your captain, she must be real mean stealing all your food and stuff". The ugly lady says "what did you say I am Alvida you snot nose brat" she gets her club and swings it from it left to right and it just passes right through him with a lightning form taking shape where the attack was made. Percy asks "you have a bounty Alvida, cause I don't have one". "Yes I do, it's 5 million berries brat" she said with a monsterous cry. Percy responds with "good, looks like your worth breakfast lunch and dinner huh". She growls "bastard", she strikes again but Percy doges and saying "same attack really" and punches her in the gut and puts both hands in the air facing forward and says "LIGHTNING CHAIN!" This takes out the rest of the pirates but leaves this little pink haired big glasses kid alone saying "are you with them". He responds "my name is Coby, Iam a cabin boy", "why that sounds boring", "I don't really have a choice, you see the only reason I am here is cause I was taken by them. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time". "I see, well now is your chance to leave". "Where do I go", Percy smirks at Coby and says "hey if you help me gather all the gold and food on these boats and get Alvida ties up and I mine I will take you to shell island and you can do whatever you want". Coby's face lights up and says "really, you would really do that". "You better hurry and find me some rope Coby so I can tie Alvida up" Percy thinks to himself "how much meat could I buy with 5 million berries?"
