Tiz sat down on the hard stone floor and stared at the bars of the cell he was in. He was lonely, and all he could think about in that moment, was Anges. He missed her concern, he missed her voice, the way it spoke when she was calm. He missed her warmth, her care, her light. He missed her, the vestal of wind, his hope, his love...
*CLUNK!*
Tiz's eyes went from the bars to where the sound came from. He heard someone grumbling, a feminine voice. Tiz stood up, he awareness spiked. Who is that? Most of the duchy gaurd were boys and never had a girl come down to the dungeons. Who...
"Why, thank you m'lady, if there is anything you would have me do, just ask."
Tiz heard another voice, this one male, and familiar. The conversation trailed off and Tiz heard no more of it. Then, Tiz heard footsteps coming near him. He held his breath, and then Edea popped around the corner,"Tiz!" She said in a strong wisper.
"Edea!?" He replied, in the same tone.
"Yeah, i'm gonna get you out of here." She then began to scroll through her key ring until she found one that fit the lock. She quietly opened the door, making sure it didn't squeak and attract attention.
"Let us press on." Ringabel said.
"Fine by me." Edea responded.
"Wait, where's Anges?" Tiz questioned.
"We're going to get her now." Edea said. They started down the dungeon again, walking torward Anges' cell.
"Thanks, i owe you one" He said said to Edea.
"Hey, Tiz..." She said.
"Tiz how do you feel about Anges? Be honest!" She continued. Tiz was baffled.
"Wha- Whoa! wh-where is this coming from!?"
"Never mind. It's written on your face." She said.
"My face? And hey, keep it down, would you!?"
"Don't worry, she can't hear us from here," Edea said,"And you can't keep hiding your feeling, anyway. Go tell her, tell her you like her."
"What!? No, i don't... Well, I mean, I... The crystals come first! This is no time to be-" Edea cut him off. Hasty.
"Heh, I didn't mean right this second. Some time, when it's just you two," She said, then she closed her eyes and said, romantically,"You tell her, take her hand, and walk your path together, side by side," She opened her eyes and looked at him again,"I mean it, Tiz. You're not going to find anyone else like her if you pass this up. Not ever! Never ever ever!"
"Look, would you please keep it down!?"
