The Cullens were sitting in their usual spot, not eating, when Edward winced. Emmett was the first to notice.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Screaming…." Edward muttered, trying to keep normal looking.

"No one's screaming." Rosalie pointed out. Edward shook his head.

"It's in her head."

"Who?" Alice asked.

"Her." Edward pointed to a table well behind theirs. It had only one occupant. A red-headed girl was eating her lunch with a book open in front of her. He looked confused.

"What is it now?" Asked Rosalie, already bored with the conversation.

"She's arguing with herself."

"No, she's reading," Emmett said, watching her.

"That's a front." Edward said with a shake of his head. "She's arguing with herself and losing."

"Losing to herself?" Emmett looked amused.

"What is she arguing about?" Alice asked.

"Panic attack," Edward said, wincing again. "And there's the screaming."

"She looks so calm." Alice said, taking another look at the girl. "Jazz, can you…." He nodded, and Edward relaxed.
