"So I was just wondering", Blair started, "Do you have a date for Georgina's party?", she inquired while beaming a fake smile.

Dan twisted his face in confusion, did Blair Waldorf just ask him out? I guess hell froze over, did he miss it on the news? He managed to choke out, "Huh?" He thought his eyebrows were going to fly off his face. He was so confused.

But Blair being Blair smiled her million dollar smile, the one she used to get her way, "Why whatever do you mean Daniel?"

Just the way she said Daniel gave him chills, and a tingling sensation shot down his back. He almost forgot how to breath for a second. Now he knew why she got everything she wanted.

"Uh..um..bah", he stuttered trying to figure out how to form words again, "Why are you asking me?", he furrowed his eyebrows again in confusion.

She sat down next to him, they were currently in a small café down the street of NYU. It opened about a month ago, Café La More; nice place. She sighed, "Chuck and I broke up and now I don't have anyone to go with", she wiped away a tear that was stinging in her eye.

'That bastard', Dan thought, 'I'll kill him.'

She beamed her Blair Waldorf smile at him, "And since I don't anyone else here, I thought maybe you and I could go together?"

He would never admit this to anyone but he had always had a crush on Blair, the day he met her he couldn't remember his own name.

The day Serena had took Blair's modeling job from her, he ignored her calls for a week. She was so vulnerable when they talked in the hallway of the studio. He had never opened up to anybody like that. He poured his heart out to her that day.

He thought it would go away over time; but it didn't as you can see. There she was, just five inches from him; it was torture for him. He couldn't kiss her because he knew she didn't feel the same, yes they were friends but he was still 'Lonely Brooklyn Boy' to her.

He wanted to show her that he was more, he wanted her so bad it hurt. Her plump cherry red lips just inches from him. They were so inviting; intoxicating really.

She was his own personal brand of heroine. He was hooked; and he needed her. Bad.
