AN: So, I did this Head Cannon recently and it wasn't my best but I still like it. Anywho, enjoy and then review!
"Hey Katrina!" a tall lanky redhead said as he slid next to a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Hey George," Katrina replied her head still buried in her homework.
"Come on Katrina, it's Saturday. Stop doing your work and come play quidditch with us," George tried again.
"George, I can't. You know that I can't fly," Katrina reminded him with a sigh. She glanced out the window toward the quidditch pitch. She sat at every game wishing with all her heart to be up there, flying with everyone else.
"Then I'll teach you!" George said. He had been trying all week to get Katrina to relax and stop doing her homework.
"I can't, I still have so much to do," Katrina said. She looked up from her writing to George's face. His face had hurt and pleading all over it. She sighed and said, "Alright. One hour, that's all you have."
"Yes!" George cried jumping up out of his seat. He hit the table and sent papers and books flying in all directions. "Sorry," he said blushing as he bent over to pick it all up. After the two had picked up everything they headed outside. The sunshine felt good on Katrina's face seeing as she had spent most of the past week inside doing homework.
"How bad of a flyer are you?" George asked with a wink as they headed toward the quidditch pitch.
"Well, let's just say that the last time I tried to fly I got up about three feet and ended up in the hospital wing with a broken wrist," Katrina replied smiling.
"Wow, you must be really terrible," George teased her.
"Still wanna teach me?" she asked hoping that he would say no.
"Not really, maybe we can just go for a fly instead," he said bumping his shoulder into hers. George walked straight to the broom cupboard. Katrina was growing more and more nervous. "Come on!" George said happiness filling his voice. He took her hand and led her outside.
"I don't know if I can do this," Katrina said when they stopped in the middle of the pitch.
"I won't let you fall, I promise," George whispered in her ear. His lips brushed her ear as he spoke. She felt her face flush.
"Okay," she replied. She got on the broom and George sat behind her. Katrina put her shaking hands on the broom and George put his arms around her and his hands in front of hers. Suddenly George suddenly kicked off and they were off. He went slowly at first then their speed increased little by little. Despite herself Katrina was having a great time. She let out a laugh.
"So, you like flying?" George whispered in her ear while they hovered in the air. Katrina looked over her shoulder at him. He was so close to her. Suddenly their lips were together in a kiss neither one was expecting.
"I love you!" Katrina blurted when their lips parted.
"I love you too," George replied smiling. They kissed until their feet where back on the ground.
