So I wrote a haiku story for FMA, and people liked it. Then I started typing this on my graphing calculator during math. Then I needed my calculator, so I wrote it down. And then I typed it up. And then I remembered the first haiku, which I had written about half a year ago. So I slapped it on at the top because it fit and voila.
Bloody Snow
A story in haikus
Snow gently fell down
Once upon a winter's day
Covering horror
The bird flies northward
The spoils beneath his white wings
Laughing with success
The black snake slithers
Rearing back for the death blow
Fang meeting bare skin
A fallen white bird
He sinks to the ground below
The stallion runs close
The black snake's secret
The stallion and bird are dead
There was no justice
Blue blossom alone
He boys did not return home
The snake in his lair
The child was found out
His identity shed light
Bird and stallion's fate
The blackness torn down
The snake no more free to roam
The lives were rebuilt
Blue blossom alone
Bitter justice had been served
Thought, "Never again"
Why am I so angsty? Maybe it's because when I was eight my chicken was taken by an eagle and we found it lying dead in the middle of the road on the way to school. True story.
And the fact that I had to go over all my lines and push shift+enter drives me insane.
