There was a man walking on a beach with God. He was having visions of his life. There were two sets of footprints in the sand, One his and one God's. He noticed that during the hard times in his life there was one set of footprints.

The man turned to God and replied, "When I became saved you promised to always be with me. But there in the sand there is only one set of footprints!"

God turned and answered, "Those were the times I carried you."

You see it may seem like God is not walking by us, exspeacialy during those hard and tough times. But He is. He is carrying us.

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

he makes me lie down in green pastures,

He leads me beside quiet waters,

He restores my soul.

He guides me in paths of righteousness

For his name's sake

Even though I walk

Through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil

For you are with me:

Your rod and your staff,

They comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

In the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil:

My cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me

All the days of my life,

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Psalms 23
