Hi, this is really short but cute :) Enjoy. please review :) x
"Oliver? What on earth are you doing?" I laughed.
"Climbing a tree."
"Why?"
"Sake Lilly, are you trying to ruin my fun?" he joked.
Slowly he made his way up this tree. We were in the park nearby where we lived and both extremely bored. I guess there was nothing better to do.
"Would you like some help there?" I teased "No, I'm perfe-" his foot slipped for the tree, leaving him hanging,"ctly fine thanks." He gained back his balance and continued to climb the tree.
"What now?" I asked.
"You can join me."
"Me? climbing a tree? I think not."
"Come on Lilly! Take my hand I won't let you fall."
I looked at him.
"I promise!" he added.
I reached up and he grabbed my hand. "Jump, 1. 2.-" he started "What?"
"3." All of a sudden my feet left the ground as I was being pulled upwards.
"Impressed?" he said.
I got myself sitting comfortably, "at what?"
"My strength." He tensed his arm muscle, trying to show.
"Very nice Oliver," I laughed, lowering his arm.
"I have a six pack too."
"Oh really? Leave that until another time, ae?"
"Eight pack sounds better doesn't it? Oliver Oken, the guy with the eight pack."
I was in so much laughter, that I almost fell off, but Oliver caught my wrist just in time.
"Haaa, saved your life there," he told me.
"Why thankyou, Superman."
"Oh it was no trouble really," he blew on his nails to show that saving me was a piece of cake.
"So, why are you here?" I asked
"I like it," he replied, "It's my thinking spot."
"Oliver, it's a tiny tree. You can't see much." I giggled.
"Yeah but I like to pretend I can."
I gave him a pathetic look.
"What?" he pushed me slightly and I almost fell but once again he caught me by the wrist.
"Twice in one day, now you gotta just love me, right?" he teased.
"Oh yes superman. How could I live without you?"
"You couldn't."
"So..." I tried to make conversation, "What do think about?"
Oliver looked at me, "Villans don't tell their evil plans."
"You're a villan?"
"I didn't quite think that one through did I?" he answered, feeling stupid.
"Nope, you didn't" I tried to stop laughing.
It went silent. That was untill I started laughing.
"What is it?" Oliver asked.
"You," I said, still lauging, "Do you come here yourself?"
"Yes..."
"What do people say?" I had an image of Oliver in head, sitting on this tree by himself and people walking past.
"That, you don't want to know," he whispered, "sweary words."
"Ahh dear Oliver, you are great, you know that?"
"Yes," he said with a cheesy smile.
"You aren't too bad yourself you know," he added a few seconds later.
"Oh, thankyou."
"Well that is when you aren't wearing that top, or those shoes."
I gave him a don't-mess-with-me-boy look.
"I kid, I kid."
"Oliver, we're sitting in a tree."
"You know, I thought we were somewhere strange." he paused, "That wasn't funny was it?"
"Nope it wasn't," I teased, "Here's some advice. Stop a sentence earlier. You always say something funny then completely ruin it."
"I'm funny?"
I thought about it, "No, not really."
He sighed and put on a sad puppy dog face.
"Superman?" I asked.
"Yes?"
"I've been up here two minutes and I'm already bored."
"Ok then," he jumped down and held his hand up for me to hold.
"Thanks," I smiled.
I was about to walk away but was stopped by Oliver, "You know, Superman couldn't live without his Louis Lane."
I smiled at him again. I leaned in a gave him a kiss. It was quick but had a lot of meaning.
I walked away, waving, "Bye Superman."
