A/N: Hey guys! So, random idea, this is a collection of PJO/HoO tribute poems! If you don't know why the title is...well...the title, "How far we've come" is a really good song by Matchbox Twenty. It really describes PJO, so I decided to use it as a title! I am taking requests for poems, btw! (almost all pairings allowed)

Ok, the reason why I've been inactive lately is 3 reasons:

coming up

3.I'm working on the second one-shot for One girl, One life, many stories, and it's extremely lengthy! Expect that soon!

Enough of my useless rambling. This first poem is dedicated to PJO in general.

Stars

I used to look at the stars

They were just little lights

Meaningless, useless, just there to fill up space.

Kind of like me.

I feel like I'm just there to be another hero, another pointless story that has to be told.

All of those people who's stories never are told are lucky.

They get the easy, happy life.

Not me.

Now, when I look up at the stars, I remember

Bianca.

And Zoe.

And Lee.

And Charles.

And Michael.

And Silena.

And Ethan.

And Luke.

But then I think of

Hazel, who died heroically.

Frank, who's life rests on a peace of wood.

Leo, who is the odd one out.

Percy, who would give anything to save a friend.

Annabeth, who isn't the average "dumb blonde".

Jason, who fell asleep on the job.

Piper, who doesn't fit her stereotype.

They'll all be stars one day.

We all will.
