Once upon a time, there was an old man who dearly wanted a son. So with a couple of elastic bands, he created a doll in the shape of a young boy. Pleased with his master piece, he named the rubber boy "Luffy" and took care of him every day.

One day, a fairy-in-training named Zoro came down from Heaven and said to the old man, "Oi old man. Do you want to make a wish, or do you want to die by my sword?!"

The old man, completely terrified, raised his hands in the air and screamed, "PLEASE MAKE LUFFY INTO A REAL BOY!"

Zoro make a "hmph" sound and waved his magical sword in the air. In a whoosh, metal powder came out from the sword and landed on Luffy's nose. Suddenly, his face crumpled and then he sneezed.

"ACHOO!"

The old man stared at Luffy's flying spit in disbelief. However his doubt turned into joy and he held Luffy up high in his arms and cried.

"My boy! My boy! My lovely rubber boy! This is quite a celebration! You shall be my son, and I shall be your father, and we shall both be a happy family in this quiet neighbourhood!"

Luffy giggled and declared in a loud voice, "NAH!"

The boy's unexpected response left the old man speechless. He tried poking his pinky finger in his ears and asking again, but Luffy returned with the same answer: "NAH!"

"But why, my boy? Do you not like being my son? Do you not want to be my apprentice and take over my doll shop when I die?"

The young rubber boy held his head high and shouted, "I'M GOING TO BE THE PIRATE KING!"

So Luffy took a small fishing boat and ran away from home to become the pirate king.

The end.
