A/N: Something totally different to what I would normally write. Yep its some Nellis.

"Ellis, come on or you will get bitten by one of them lot!" Nick shouted at Ellis, who was trailing behind.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm on my way." He sighed and made his way to along the highway. "Does this go on for any longer." He groaned and looked around for some zombies or something. Anything to keep him occupied.

"The motel is just up the road." Coach shouted interrupting their conversation.

"Good. I could do with some sleep."

They carried on walking for about 10 minutes when they came to the entrance of the motel, it was blocked off by a jack knifed lorry. "There's a billboard over there, no doubt there will be a ladder to climb up and then it doesn't look a very big drop between the board and the building." Rochelle exclaimed and started running towards the board. The survivors climbed to the top and looked out for miles to see if there were any hoards near by. They couldn't see any. Ellis was the first to jump, then Coach, followed by Rochelle and finally Nick.

"I remember coming here as a kid and with my dad and my buddie Keith. We used to have great times. Once we.." Ellis started

"We don't need to know, Ellis." Coach sighed and listened closely.

"I haven't even go to the best bit.."

"Shush. Listen." He pointed at one of the doors and nodded.

"A witch." Nick whispered.

"Certainly is." Rochelle replied.

"I'll go first. Everyone flashlights off." Ellis nodded and walked along the building, jumping the gap. He kicked the door open and sure enough on the other side sprawled across the floor was a witch. The same old crying noise went through his head as pulled out his gun. "Time to die, Bitch." The first shot went into her head and then she ran for him. "Shit. I could use some help here." The witch pins him to the floor and tears a chunk from his arm. A blood curdling scream rings through the air. They shoot and shoot the witch until it finally dies. Every thing thats happening becomes a blur to Ellis. The witch is pulled from him and the full extent of his injuries are revealed. Blood poured from the wound on his arm. Coach and Nick pulled him up and let him slump down against the wall.

Nick knelt down beside him. "You two go see if you can find some first aid kits." Nick looked down at the wound on Ellis' arm. "Come on Ellis, you can make it through this."

"I..dont..think...I...can..I'm sorry" He says between long painful breaths.

"No, you can. I promise you. Why dont you tell me that story about you and Keith, when you came here as little kids."

He chuckled a little but Nick could see the he was in a lot of pain. "So...we were in this motel and it was winter, it had snowed and the lake at the bottom had frozen over. We decided to go sledging down the hill and so we did and then we were going down the hill and there people ice skating at the bottom and..." He started to cough.

"You can tell me the rest later." Nick put his hand on Ellis'. He could hear the change in his breathing. "Ellis stay with me, please. Your a survivor. You were born to survive." A tear ran down his cheek. He bent over and planted a kiss on Ellis' head. "I'm sorry.." He cried and sat down beside him.

The others came back with the first aid kits but it was to late. They looked down at Nick. He shook his head. "He's gone." He cried and put his head in his hands.
