The Quidditch Match

I felt the cold wind rushing through my face. Only Lee Jordan's voice can be heard from the loud cheers of my housemates on the field. Harry was not permitted to play the game. I was a fill in seeker for him. My twin bothers, Fred and George, were also not allowed to play. Umbridge prohibited them.

I could hardly see. It was raining and also a bit foggy. I felt goose bumps rising up on my skin as I flew around the field looking for the Golden Snitch. I sensed that Malfoy was right behind me also looking for it. I went to check up on my brother, Ron, when I saw something gleamed. The Snitch was hovering near the Gryffindor stands. I felt adrenaline rushed through my veins as I hurry towards it with Malfoy close behind. I ducked as a Bludger pass by me.

Malfoy's nimbus two thousand and one was undoubtedly faster so he was able to catch up with me in no time at all. Then another Bludger came. I blinked my eyes and saw something black falling. It was Malfoy. I became alarmed. The Snitch was right in front of me. I could easily capture it and win my house a hundred and fifty points. On the other hand, I could save the person who had teased me to no end. A person whose father tried to have my father to lose his job. I gripped the handle of my broom tightly and lunged.

I caught him in his robes. He was holding his right arm and pain was plastered on his face. He looked up and let out a sigh. Then, he scowled and said, "You should have let me die. I cannot stomached a muggle loving Weasley saving me."

I glared at him and replied, "With your attitude, how I wish I did". I lunged downward ignoring his further retorts. My right arm started shaking due to his weight. With the rain getting heavier by the minute, it became more difficult to see. Water started flowing down my right arm. He was slipping! I felt the need to hurry or else I might drop him.

At last, we landed on the safe ground. I found myself enveloped in a hug. I looked up and saw Ron. His face was mixed with worry and relief. On the corner of my eyes, I could see Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, Hagrid, and the Headmaster surrounding Malfoy and getting him ready to take in the infirmary. Hagrid took him in his arms and started to walk away with the Professors not far behind.

"Wait a second." I heard him sayas he struggled from Hagrid's grasp. Hagrid reluctantly stopped from his steps. "Hey, Weasley!" with this Ron and I both turned around and looked at him. He opened his mouth but no words came out. He sighed. He opened his mouth again and said, "Than... Thank You." I know it was hard for him to say it, thanking his enemy. I smiled up at him and nodded. I guess my decision was right. It was better savingmy worst enemy.
