"sigh….You again?"

A man folded his hands as he looked at two eyes that lit the darkness. His eyes were filled with redness; he wore a green cap that wore the famous "L" on it. It was Luigi, but he was not acting on his own will. He grinned an evil sort of grin as he was sitting at a table, where only he and two eyes were able to be seen. He voice was a bit hoarse, as though he was screaming for hours.

"Start at the beginning," Said the eyes as the rest of what held those eyes came into view. It was a toad that was old. His eyes were sternly fixed upon Luigi "You were with him, you know where he is. It is vital that we know where he is."

Luigi let out a hearty laugh. "Why? It doesn't matter anymore; my master's plan is already set in motion. He will soon take over this excuse for a kingdom…."

"Ahh." Said the toad, "But whose master?"

"What do you mean?" Said Luigi, his grin fading from his face.

"I didn't want to resort to this," Said the toad, "You are his brother, but in order to keep the safety and sanity of this kingdom in order, I will have to resort to this…"

The toad went back into the darkness. Luigi was curious, "What does this thing intend to do?" and than his curiosity was replaced by both fear and dumb fondness. The toad was holding a rod, though his hand was covered with a glove. Luigi jumped out of his seat, knocking the chair behind him.

"Where in the world did you get that!" Said Luigi.

"A little birdie gave it too me," Said the toad, "Now, are you going to talk or are things going to get nasty?"

Luigi was in rage, but he knew that the rod was the only thing that could control him, or at least the thing that was using his dead body as a vessel.

"Pick up the chair and start." Said the toad.

Luigi, though grudgingly, pick up the chair and sat down.

"You do know that once I get a hold of that rod, I'm going to kill you?" Said Luigi with a grin.

"I know." Said the toad.

There was a look of uncertainty in Luigi's eyes. He couldn't understand this toad. He seems to brush away any threat that he threw at him. He even had the chance to kill him. All he had to do was jump and take the rod and kill him, but something was keeping him from it. But, with a sigh he folded his arms and said "Alright, I'll talk. Or more rather read what I can from this fools mind."

Luigi closed his eyes and said "It all started with that letter….."
