Who Knew

Some people say his father was an abuser, others say he was a drunk. He's also met people that believed him not to have met his father at all.

That his mother wasn't much better than a crack whore, a drug addict that couldn't possibly have known her babies daddy let alone been in a relationship with him. A single mother on welfare that sold her foodstamps for the next fix instead of feeding the half dozen kids she had at home.

Those were all foster kids' situations right? They were taken away from homes that were no good, removed from people that neglected them.

Only that was wrong.

His home hadn't been a bad one, he wasn't taken away from there for his own safety.

His father wasn't a drunk, neither was his mother, but the man that had hit their car was.

See foster care isn't only to remove children from abuse, it's also where they stick them when they're unlucky enough to have no other family.

No, he hadn"t come from a broken home like people assumed, someone had broke his home.

They could say what they wanted though, it didn't matter. It was okay for them to think what they wanted because he knew.

Just like he knew his mothers favorite flower was the daisy and those were what he layed on her grave as he visited like he did every year on this day, celebrating what would have been their 30th wedding anniversary.

See some actually bothered to ask but it wasn't sincere, they wanted to hear his "pain", the horrid childhood that he must be hiding since he didn't speak of his parents, but that didn't matter either, cause he knew.
