The snow storm continued to blow from all directions, with the mountain becoming harder and harder to see. Anna called from behind me "Please stop this, before I must stop you."

"I don't care what power the trolls taught you, you can't stop this. They know they deserve it, and you should have protected yourself."

"I know what they did, but no one deserves this kind of punishment."

"Then stop me, if you think you can."

"Very well, you had your chance."

With that, pillars of flame fell around me, cutting me off from everything. The storm stopped, as I tried to fight back the flames. But it wasn't enough, I knew I wouldn't survive.

I bolted awake, terrified of what I had seen. These dreams kept getting more real, and it was starting to get to me. At breakfast, I was carefully eyeing Anna's hair, making sure it wasn't the dark red of the dream. Kai had said it was the stress, Anna said it was my fear, but I knew there was something more to it.

That evening, I set off to see the trolls. It took me a while to get them to wake up, since it was late at night, but eventually they did. After much fuss, I was able to talk to Grand Pabbie alone. He said these were premonitions, but of the distant future. The trolls did indeed have the ability to give one person power over fire, as a counter to her powers, however they had never used it.

With this I returned to the castle, convinced but unsatisfied. Who was 'they'? What had I done, or what was I going to do? What had 'they' done, and how was I going to punish them?

That night I had the same nightmare, and the next morning Anna could tell something was wrong.

"Where did you go last night? I saw you sneak off, but you must've gotten back late."

"I went to see the trolls, since I thought they might know what the dreams meant."

"And?"

"They're distant premonitions, but most likely true."

"Then what can we do? No one wants a repeat of last summer, but your control has improved so much."

"I wish I knew. But whatever this is, I can't help but feel is just a piece of a bigger picture. Do you remember a story we read as kids, before we were separated?"

"Vaguely. The one about the seasons being thrown out of whack by some thieves?"

"That's the one. It talked about…"

(both of us together)"The two sisters of fire and ice."

"This could be part of a bigger problem, but for once we can't stop it."

"I don't think we should try. This sounds like a plan to wind us up, then take you out while we're paranoid."

"True. Would you put this past being a long running scheme of Weselton's?"

"No, nor one of the Southern Isles'."

"In which case we must be read…"

I look down, and see the spike of fire through my stomach. I see my sister morph into Hans.

"Well, look who fell for the trap. Now Arendelle can have a real ruler."

"Where's…Anna…?"

Then everything goes black.
