Howdy, I haven't written much in a while and this plot bunny was viscously attacking me so I decided to get rid of it.

Why?

She couldn't sleep. Not without the sound of him breathing in the room next to her. She sighed. She got up to leave. When she reached her doorway she bit her lip, looked both ways down the hall, and snuck into his room. She sighed again when she saw the lonely teddy bear. She reached into his closet and pulled out his dark green bathrobe, and pulled it around her; it was big but she didn't care. She took a deep breath of his familiar smell.

She wandered outside. The moon was full and there was a thick fog, which vaguely reminded her of the Ying-Yang world. She plopped down on a bench the fog swirled around her feet. She pulled the comfort of his bathrobe closer.

Behind her dark green eyes flashed through the darkness of the wood. The dark outline of an adolescent lion crept through the fog. He hunched his shoulders like he was about to pounce on her. But instead grinned and leaped up onto the bench next to her. She jumped. Her eyes were wide and her hand was over her chest. The lion smirked. His fur was dark brown, a couple locks of mane fell over his green eyes, he had the darker mane like fur traveling down the back of his neck, and a small patch of it on his chest. "Rai!" she exclaimed with joy. She threw her arms around his neck, he grinned and placed a paw on her back.

"So, ya missing me yet?" he asked when she pulled away. She wasn't sure what she hated more, the fact he was right or the fact he was cocky about it.

"Yes, we miss you" she said exasperated. There was a long silence as they both looked up at the stars.

"Hey, wait a minute how can you be here if you swore your loyalty to Chase?" she asked.

"You of all people should know how I am with rules, Kim" he replied. She rolled her eyes. More silence.

Then she asked something that had been bugging her since…It happened.

"Why" she whispered.

"Why what?" he responded, lowering his gaze to her.

"Why did you trade your eternal loyalty for my freedom?"

"The same reason why you're wearing my bathrobe" he answered with a small smile. She blushed.

"Well, I better split. See ya tomorrow when ya come to bust me outta jail" he said, before leaning over and drawing his pink tongue over her cheek.

The End
