Gerard, who is better known as Red, as he always wears the red riding hood his grandma made him, woke up on a morning like any other. The sun was shining, occasionally being blocked out by the few clouds that roamed across the sky.

He got dressed in a knee length, deep red dress. The skirt of the dress was a full one, that would flow, and ripple in the wind. The top part of the dress fitted nicely to him. He put on his black boots, and brushed his hair back. He picked up the basket, he packed last night. He kisses his mother's cheek, and his little brother's head before he left off to Grandma.

Gerard's grandma had fallen sick, so being as sweet creature as Gerard was, he took it on himself to visit her, and help out. It was the least he could do for his kind, but don't mess with if you value your life, grandma. She had always supported and helped Gerard to be himself, even when it meant fighting against the whole village. Such as with his dresses, if it wasn't for his grandma the village would of forced him to give them up, and stop wearing them. He was ever thankful to his grandma for that, and really didn't mind visiting her. in fact he rather enjoyed it.

He skip along the forest path, for it was a beautiful day. So beautiful, it made me fail to notice he was being watched for less then pure reasons.
