I like the way you wanted me /every night for so long baby/ I like the way you needed me /every time things got rocky
Musa felt the tears dripping down her face. She and Riven fought all the time but it never ended like this. Riven had disliked her newest song saying it sound lame, but to her it sound amazing or at least she thought it did. She wiped away the newest tears that were forming. She looked up and saw Riven sitting on the balcony. She tried to not let the tears show, she tried to be brave.
I was believing in you /was I mistaken do you mean /do you mean what you say/ when you say our love could last forever
Riven looked down at Musa. Sure maybe he was a bit harsh in her but he meant what he had said. That song was lame, but she didn't give him the chance to finish. It was lame because it didn't sound like the Musa he knew and loved. If she had only listened then maybe they wouldn't be in this mess.
But I'd rather you be mean than love and lie/I'd rather hear the truth and have to say goodbye/I'd rather take a blow at least then I would know/But baby don't you break my heart slow
Musa stood up from where she was sitting and looked up at Riven once more. She could see a tear in his eyes but it didn't matter to her anymore. She looked the other way and began to walk. She loved Riven even though he was mean. Unfortunately the truth hurt, but she was happy he told the truth. Most guys she knew would lie just so that they would hurt the one they loved.
I like the way you'd hold me/every night for so long baby/I like the way you'd sing to me/Every time things got rocky
Riven watched as Musa walked off. He didn't bother to stop her, he needed to think and clear his head. He remembered when they were fighting against Darkar. He took the blast to protect Musa and Musa stayed by his side the entire time after the fact. He let the tear that stood in his eye fall. He was sorry, but what could he do to make this up?
But I'd rather you be mean than love and lie/I'd rather hear the truth and have to say goodbye/I'd rather take a blow at least then I would know/But baby don't you break my heart slow
Musa had collapsed about a mile from the school. Her heart hurt and she could no longer keep from crying. She thought Riven would have stopped her from leaving, but apparently she was wrong. After what he said, she was surprised he didn't stop her. She felt the tears drip from her face in heavy streams. She stood and try to continue on home.
You would run around and lead me on forever/While I stay at home still thinking we're together/I wanted our love to last forever
Riven could feel his heart breaking. He ran after her. He ran after Musa. He wasn't going to lose her. He had been through too much with her to let her go like this. He could feel his heart beating hard in his chest as he ran. The tears were dripping on his cheeks. He hand never cried like this but he could feel his pain swelling like a balloon. He needed her. He needed Musa.
But I'd rather you be mean than love and lie/I'd rather hear the truth and have to say goodbye/I'd rather take a blow at least then I would know/But baby don't you break my heart slow/ baby don't break my heart slow
Musa heard someone behind her. She didn't bother to stop thought. What was the point? She wiped away another tear when a hand appeared on her shoulder. She knew that hand all too well and she didn't feel like seeing that hand, but it didn't give up. It held its grip tight and spun her around so that they faced one another. A finger wiped a tear from her eye. Two strong arms pulled her to him until the space between their bodies touched. She wanted to push away but she didn't. When she looked at his face again, a smile appeared. One appeared on her's too. Not one word had to be exchanged. They closed the space and kissed forgetting about the entire fight before.
