Massage Therapy
Abby was trying to get out of her office as soon as possible. To everyone who looked in, they would think she had somewhere to be at 3:00 in the afternoon that wasn't in her lab.
They would be right, she did have somewhere to be.
She ran into the elevator just as Gibbs was coming out and ran smack into him. He held onto her and braced himself so neither of them would fall. Once he was sure that they were stable he started asking questions.
"Somewhere you have to be Abbs?"
"Yes," was all the answer she gave him, but he still didn't let her go. He wasn't satisfied.
"Where Abbs? I know we closed our case this morning, but I was wondering if you would go out for coffee?"
"Gibbs, I can't. I have an appointment that I am going to miss. I must go," she started to walk back into the elevator and he followed her.
"Then I will walk you to your car. What are you so anxious to get to, if I may ask?"
She gave a deep sigh before speaking.
"Massage Therapy, Gibbs. And before you ask why, my doctor said it will help naturally release endorphins that I supposedly need."
"I am not a doctor Abby, but I know why people enhance their endorphin levels. Are you depressed Abby?"
"Not really Gibbs, but my doctor thinks I am on my way," the elevator bell rings, indicating they have arrived at there designated floor, " So if you will excuse me, I must go," she left the elevator in a hurry hoping to delay an awkward conversation with Gibbs, but he was faster than her, caught up with her quickly, and grabbed her by the arm.
"Abby, tell me, what is making you depressed and I will fix it."
"I don't think you will, which is why I need to go Gibbs."
"What do you think I won't fix for you? Huh? Abbs, trust me, I will."
"You, Gibbs, I want you. All of you. All to myself. You won't do that Gibbs, you see me as a daughter, I know you do. You won't fulfill my needs because of that."
"Abby, that is where you are wrong. I love you more than a daughter. That is partially why I was going to take you out for coffee. I wanted to spend more time with you and hopefully gain enough courage to ask you out."
"Really, Gibbs?"
"Yes really, and if you still want that massage therapy, there is no reason for you to go to anyone but me for it."
"Gibbs. Please do. I would love it. But like a full back massage, on your bed. That, I would enjoy."
"That can be done, Abbs."
With that, they both drove to Gibbs' place. Abby got the massage, and rewarded him equally. What she didn't expect was to stay there all weekend with him with no interruptions.
