Sitting on the hood of an abandoned car, thinking and watching people walk by, each one of them giving me judgmental looks. /I don't much care about the way they look at me./ I'd run away from home some time ago, so I knew my appearance wasn't the greatest. Looking the part helped my blend in. I was really surprised my father hadn't not found and dragged me home yet. He thought freezing my bank account would bring me crawling back. / I never want to go back there, living on the streets is better than that hell hole. I would rather die… I am capable of taking care of myself./

/It's beginning to get dark, guess it's about time to head to work. I bet with some new clothes I could make double what I normally make/ He thought to himself, sliding off the hood of the car. After stopping at a small store on the way to work, to pick up some new clothes, he heads to work.

Walking down the alleyway he passes a few other guys./Business hasn't begun yet./ Robert, Kai's boss, walks up to each boy and gives them a few items. He finally makes his way to Kai, his favorite. He's new, inexperienced, still innocent. Robert isn't heartless, he does care about the safety of his boys… he always makes sure they have what they need. Condoms, lubricant, even flasks of alcohol to numb the pain. Kai takes the items from him and slips them in his jacket pocket. He's a very quiet, to himself person, but the minute someone walks down that alleyway a whole different Kai shows his face. Seductive looks, flirtatious body movements, it makes the guys come back for more. Roberts pulls Kai's head up and looks him straight in the eyes. They hold no emotion, and this worries Robert a little. He smiles reassuringly, and kisses Kai softly on the lips.

Bryan comes by as usual, he starts kissing and touching Kai in the alley before he takes him to the car. He's always brought him back two hours later and he never skimped on the cash. A couple of quickies later someone new walks up. He gives Kai a once over and motions for him to follow. Quietly following the stranger, he gets in his car before the stranger finally speaks.

"What's your name?"

"Kai"

"I'm Dunga"

"Oh.."

/We've been driving for quite some awhile and these are some really nice houses. Maybe I'll get a really nice tip./ The car finally turns into the drive way of one of the houses. Kai follows him inside, and Dunga wastes no time taking him straight to the bed room.

"So, let's talk payment."

Dunga mumbles something under his breath.

"Huh? What did you say?"

"I don't have to pay you anything. I can just take what's mine."

Before Kai knows it he's is on top of him, pinning him to the bed. Kai attempts to fight him off, but the struggle is met with a sharp strike across his face. Next a strong hand on his throat, cutting off his air supply. He claws at the hand trying to free himself, but the harder he fights, the tighter Dunga's grip becomes. Not wanting to black out he stops fighting and Dunga removes his hand. Kai gasps for breath as he is tied to the bed. Dunga rips at Kai's clothes like a raging beast before penetrating with so much force that he cries out in pain. / I want to kick, I want to scream, I want to fight… but I know it best just to lay there and wait for him to finish/ After what feels like an eternity, Dunga rises from atop Kai's battered body, and goes to take a shower without a word.

After lying there for a moment Kai's senses return and he realizes he needs to leave while he can. Twisting his wrist around he's able to slip free from his bonds. He grabs what's left of his clothes and makes a hasty exit. Running out into the pouring rain, nothing looks familiar. /I don't know where I am…/ Running as hard as he can, pain wracks his body. Stumbling, he falls onto his face. He lies still, barely noticing as headlights approach. /I can't get up. Everything hurts. I can't run anymore. I just want it to be over./

Tyson is driving home from work when he spots something on the side of the road. He stops his car and jumps out. Lying on the sidewalk is a body, shaking from the cold.

"Are you ok?" Tyson calls out approaching with caution.

"GO AWAY!" Kai gasps, crying.

Tyson sees blood on the pavement. "I'm going to call for help."

"No! Please don't!" Kai couldn't go to the hospital, knowing his father would surely find him then.

"But you're bleeding…"

"I'm fine…"

"I want to help. I can't just leave you here."

"…Can you give me a ride?"

"Sure," Tyson replies as he helps Kai up and to his car. "Where to?"

"Just drop me off somewhere in town."

"Ok" Tyson says. Turning around in a driveway, he heads back into town. After minutes of silence, Tyson looks over. "What happened to you? You get in a fight?"

"Yeah, you can say that…"

"Does it hurt?"

"A little, it's kind of numb right now… Why?"

"Huh? Why what?"

"Why would you be so nice to a stranger, a whore,a tramp…?"

Tyson interrupts Kai before he can bag on himself anymore. "I'm just a nice person, alright? Besides, isn't everyone a stranger before you get to know them?"

"Yeah, I guess…"

"You shouldn't call yourself a whore or a tramp. I think you're just lost and confused."

"No."

"Yeah you are."

"Your know what, just drop me off here."

Tyson pulls to the corner for Kai to get out. "By the way I'm Tyson, Tyson Granger."

"Kai… Kuznetsov."

"If you ever need anything, look me up. Remember, I'm a nice person."

Kai just nods and gets out of the car.

The pain returns with a vengeance, almost making his knees buckle. Closing the door he walks the familiar streets, back to Robert. Kai turns the corner, and Robert is standing there waiting on him. Reaching the safety of home, Kai lurches forward and loses his feet. Too weak to catch himself, he braces for impact as best he can. After a moment he opens his eyes and realizes he hasn't struck the ground, and feels Robert's warmth as he's eased slowly to the ground.

"Kai, what happened?"

"Robert, he hurt me…"

"Kai it's going to be ok, everything is going to be fine."

/Where were you?/ Kai thinks, as everything goes black.
