AN: I am here to inform you that I am heavily updating this fanfic and fixing the grammar.
Hey everyone it's Selentis-Neko. This is my first Gundam Wing fanfic. I really hope that you enjoy.
Disclaimers: I don't own Gundam Wing. So you can't sue. How ever I do own Mei and any other ocs.
Enter Myra Mei Bloom
It was a crisp cool night at the Big Top. A girl stood with her feet carefully placed on the elephant's trunk as it stood on its hind legs. Her heart was racing as the crowd's applause and cheers filled her ears. Above her, her older brother stood calmly on the tight wire with big sister in his strong arms. A white dove perched on her extended hand as the sisters smiled to the crowd. Their brother showed no emotion with half of his face covered with a mask. Soon the lights went down and the crowd started to leave. The performers made their way out of the center ring and to the back where the went the their changing rooms. Trowa was just finishing putting away his costume when he heard a voice call out to him.
"Hey Trowa," The said ex-pilot turned to see a girl with sandy haired that went past her shoulders and eyes the color of emeralds. She was dressed in a simple white shirt and green skirt. Her white knee high boots crunched the dirt ground as she approached the taller man.
"Yes Mei," he asked as he gave her one of his rare smiles.
"Do you mind if I go to the store for a bit? I have a few things I need to pick up." She asked with a sweet sing song voice, giving him her biggest smile while holding her hands behind her back.
Trowa let his smile fall and return to his stoic mask. He ruffled the girl's hair much to her displeasure.
"Sure just don't stay out to long, ok?" he asked, clear concern in his eyes.
"I won't I promise," She said as she turned to run out of the tent with a bright smile lighting her face.
"You give her way to much freedom, you know," Catherine spoke up after watching the two for so long and walking up to Trowa.
"She'll be fine." He sighed before finishing his task he was working on before.
In the city Mei walked out of a quick-mart carrying a small plastic bag. She was very aware of her surroundings. Her eyes shifted around taking in everything. She walked on listening to Ai Ne from S.H.E on her mp3 player and humming along with the song. As she rounded a corner her eyes fell on a certain blonde haired boy. Turning off her player, she looked at the boy with a tilt of her head. She could tell he was somewhat taller than her but just a little under her brother. He was wearing tan dress pants and light purple shirt with a black vest. He looked familiar, very familiar. She knew she recognized him from one of the few pictures Trowa had of his friends. She imagined the photo in her head, going over each one. The Perfect Soldier, the guy with the braid, her brother and.. That's when it hit her.
"Hey Quatre," she called jogging over to the boy and waving her hand with a big smile. Quatre looked up when he heard someone call his name, wondering who it could be. Turning around he saw a girl with sandy haired girl running up to him, she looked familiar but couldn't place it. He was slightly confused as the girl came to a stop in front of him taking note that she was slightly shorter than him.
"Um… Hello miss. I don't think we've met before," said Quatre giving the girl a polite smile. She did seem familiar, maybe he met her while travelling or maybe she was a daughter of a board member.
"Likewise," said the girl while hunched over, hands on her knees and panting slightly.
"Then how do you know me?" he asked, he was even more confused than before. Immediately his pilot instincts kicked in while going to reach for his hidden gun.
"My brother's a friend of yours." she explained as she let out a ragged breath and standing up straight.
"Who's your brother," he asked trying to figure out whose sister this could be while keeping his hand on the butt of his pistol.
"Oh you fought with him in the war, Trowa Barton." she announced unaware of Quatre reaching for a weapon.
Quatre just stood there in shock. He didn't know that Trowa had a little sister. All the times the two spoke over video call and the phone. Of all the missions they had gone on for Lt. Noin and Lady Une after the war, he never mentioned a sister.
"Wow, really? I had no idea he had a little sister. I'm Quatre Raberba Winner," he extended his hand to greet the girl properly. She took his hand in a firm yet gentle shake, which was surprisingly strong..
"Yep. I'm Myra Mei Bloom but I go buy Mei. I'm his little sister by a year and the cutest of the family!" she joked, laughing lightly at her own joke. Quatre found himself laughing along with her, finding it remarkable that this young girl was even related to the stoic pilot.
"I can definitely see the resemblance." he finally replied.
"Thanks, hey I was just about to head back to the Big Top. Wanna come with? I'm sure Trowa would love to see you again." She asked offering a knowing smile. Quatre nodded offering to carry the shopping bag that Mei was holding. They walked back to the big top getting to know each other along the way. As they entered the camp site they saw Catherine, who was talking with Trowa at the time. She took notice of the two and could not help the smile that was blossoming on her lips.
"Mei, Quatre," She called out, running over to the two leaving a confused Trowa. Upon seeing Quatre, Trowa got a very small smile on his face as he turned to approach them.
'Thank you, Mei,' he thought as he walked over to the three. Quatre stopped in front of Trowa smiling up at him. It had been so long since the two had seen each other and it made his heart soar.
"Hello, Trowa," he said as the two stood before each other. "I believe the last time we saw each other were in the sand of Syria."
"I think we should go." Catherine whispered to her younger sister. Mei giggled and the boys turned to the girls a bit confused. The two girls merely waved it off, opting to head back to their small RV to give the boys some time alone. Quatre let a small chuckle escape his lips at the girls antics while Trowa rolled his eyes before looking to the blonde next to him.
"So you ran into little Mei," said Trowa turning to him. "I hope she didn't cause you any trouble."
"Not at all. I just heard someone call my name and the next thing I knew, we were walking down the road to the Big Top." Quatre laughed softly, bringing another smile to the taller man's face. That smile didn't last long as he noticed a man standing and watching the two of them. His face changed from content to that of disgust. Quatre took notice and followed his gaze to the man. The man wore all black, his hair was a dark brown and his eyes piercing black. The air around him seemed to scream dangerous, activating his instincts once more. Both pilots reached towards their hidden pistols, muscles tense as they watched him.
"Trowa who is he?" he asked sounding concerned.
"Trouble." Was all he said, motioning for Quatre to follow him. They walked to the RV and entered the surprisingly quiet mobile home. As Quatre sat on the couch, while Trowa walked to the back room to check on the girls. Cathy was asleep on the small bed with Mei asleep next to her. Trowa scanned over the room for a minute before closing the door and joining Quatre on the couch. They sat in silence for a bit as Trowa let his thoughts scramble back together.
"Mei has a stalker." started Trowa, "He's been following the circus for at least five months. The thing is, it's hard to keep an eye on her all the time. At first, he was just some random fan, that was until he started to approach Mei before and after the shows. The guy at one point tried to offer her to become his wife and quit the circus. When she turned him down he tried to kidnap her. She fought him off and ran back inside. A couple of the guys and myself made sure he left. After that, he has been following her ever since, leaving her threatening letters and stalking her when she is not near the tent."
"I see, he needs to be taken care of. As much as I don't like violence, I must admit, she does need to learn more self defense." said Quatre looking to the floor thinking, "Hey Trowa why don't I stay with you?"
"Huh," Trowa look to the blonde a bit confused.
"Well I could help watch over Mei and teach her more self defense. We could, also, catch up." Quatre looked up to Trowa's eyes with hope. Trowa nodded and the two sat in silence for a while before turning in for the night. Trow truly did hope this would help his sister in the long run. She was tired of this guy always ruining her life.
Well that's it. I hope you liked it. I hope to have chapter two up soon. R&R. Selenti-Neko
