She was so not ready. I mean, she just wasn't ready. How could anyone expect her to be ready? Marriage was a hard thing, and Bella was not prepared for it. She was still the same little girl who was scared to sleep with the closet open, because of the monsters that were lurking in the dark—except now she knew the monsters existed.

In fact, he was a monster. Her beautiful, wonderful, menacing monster. Edward the love of her life. Edward the soulless ghoul. Edward the vampire. He was going to make her one. He didn't want to, but it was inevitable. She was growing older, and he was staying younger. Already, she was a year older than him chronologically. Imagine being a year older than a hundred year old vampire. Imagine that vampire being adamant against the idea of turning you into whatever he was. Imagine that after begging and begging, he finally relents, but only if you will agree to one thing. One little, inconsequential, meaningless thing, a thing that would last forever. Marriage. He wanted you to marry.

He wanted you to marry a dog. A filthy, mange ridden, flea infested, freeloading, piece of shit dog. But he loves you. The dog loves you so much, it actually hurts him when you are away. That would be great, if he were humanoid, but he isn't a human. He is a dog, a German shepherd to be exact. A vampire German shepherd. You didn't even know those existed until a few months ago, but they do, and you are about to marry one.

Bella wasn't raised to marry animals. She was raised a good, Mormon girl. She was taught to tease the boys, and then hold back until after they graduated college, got a nice job, and some kind of 401K plan. "Always go for the boys with the 401K plans," her mother used to say," those boys are going places." If only her mother could see her now; marrying a dog, in order to live in sin with her eternally seventeen year old boyfriend. Bella wasn't raised to marry animals, but she was raised to marry dogs.

THIS IS THE END OF CHAPTER 1. CHAPTER 2 WILL BE UP SOON. WHERE IS THIS GOING? YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE.
