Prussia sighed as he walked to his girlfriend`s house. It was early in the morning, seven to be exact, but Prussia didn`t care. Normally he wouldn't be up this early, but today was a special day, June eighth, Hungary's birthday. Today he had decided he would make her breakfast in bed. Normally Prussia wouldn't bother with something as unawesome as manual labor, but Prussia couldn`t help but want to. He loved her.

Prussia continued walking. He remembered the days when he was a young nation, and how he believed love to unawesome, useless, and unimportant. He remembered the time when he vowed that he would never fall in love. He was doing just fine in till she came along.

Prussia smiled when he arrived at Hungary`s house and walked through the door and into the kitchen. He took the cook books and began to work as he tried to keep the kitchen as clean as possible, Key word tried. When he was done he had the omelet, sausages, buttered toast, and glass of water on a glass tray with a freshly picked tulip next to the glass of water, and a birthday card. Prussia looked around and surveyed the damage. The once clean kitchen was a mess. Eggs, pans, and other ingredients lay strewn across the countertops. He could only hope Hungary wouldn`t be to mad, and made his way towards her bedroom.

When he arrived he found her fast asleep. He quietly set the tray on her dresser next to her bed, took off his shoes and laid next to her, and gently shook her awake. "Happy birthday sleepy head".

Hungary turned her body towards him and smiled. "Thanks". "What`s that smell?"

"Breakfast made by the awesome me!", Boasted Prussia as he handed her the tray.

Hungary stared at him. "You made me breakfast?"

"Yep!"

"Thank you, Gilbert.", Hungary said as she began eating.

When she finished Prussia and Hungary laid side by side together on the bed. Hungary smiled contently as she laid her head against Prussia chest. "You didn`t have to do that."

"I know.", He turned and looked at her, "I did because I love you". Hungary smiled again as she cuddled against him.

"Do you remember when you said you`d never fall in love?"

"Yeah, who knew you`d prove me wrong."

Who Knew

A few hours later Prussia awoke to Hungary screaming at him. "Gilbert what the hell did you do to my Kitchen!"

He scrambled out of bed only to be chased around the house by Hungary and her frying pan.
