Hey guys. Here's a very stupid oneshot that just popped into my head in the shower. :P Hope you guys enjoy! :D
Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I still don't own anything. But never fret! I'm working on it! :D
"Oh, crap! There's Courtney! How's my hair?" Duncan gasped.
"Dude, what's the matter man? Since when did you care how your hair looks in front of Courtney?" Geoff asked.
"DUDE! The dance is just around the corner, bro! How am I supposed to ask her to go with me if my hair looks like I just got out of bed?"
"So?"
"What do you mean? Aw, Geoff. Just because you already asked Bridgette out doesn't mean you can totally badger me about it!"
"I'm not badgering you!"
"…Shut up."
"Dude, I'm gonna go. Courtney's coming your way. Good luck, bro!" Geoff said with a smile.
Duncan groaned inwardly, watching Courtney making her way over here. He put his hand into his Mohawk and attempted to smooth out his messy hair. He was breathing extremely hard, when finally Courtney made it to him.
"Hey, Duncan."
"H—Hey Court," Duncan stammered pathetically.
"Duncan…is something wrong? You look kinda pale," Courtney observed, leaning in closer to Duncan.
"No, I'm fine," Duncan assured. "Hey, Princess—"
"I'm gonna make this clear, it's Courtney, not—"
"Yeah…yeah, whatever! Courtney, would you…" Duncan took in another breath before trying to continue.
"Would I…?"
Duncan sighed for the tenth time that day. "Do you wanna go to the dance with me?"
Courtney smiled that smile of hers (Dammit! Duncan thought) and it took a while for her to reply. "Sure, Duncan."
"Well, yeah I get it…wait! Did you actually say yes?"
"Oh great, the guy taking me to the dance is deaf. That's lovely. Yes, you dumbass, I said yes!" Courtney said.
"Oh…cool," Duncan said with a shy grin.
"Pick me up at 7?"
"Yeah…see you there," Duncan agreed.
"Cool. Later, Duncan," Courtney replied, pecking him on the cheek, making his face go insanely red.
"Hey, Duncan."
"Hey yourself. By the way, you look great," Duncan said, eyes raking her body.
"Pervert," Courtney muttered, when Duncan lifted her wrist. "What are you doing?"
"Just because I'm a pervert doesn't mean I don't have class," Duncan murmured while attaching her corsage onto her wrist.
"Well, thank you," Courtney said with a sincere smile.
Reaching the school auditorium, Duncan realized there were many cameras and photographers around.
"If you're wondering why there are so many cameras, it's because they're taking pictures for the yearbook."
"Like for what?"
"Oh, y'know, like Best Dress, Best Tux, and Best Couples, all that stuff."
"Huh…Hey Court?"
"Yeah?"
"How's my hair?"
Two months later in June…
"Hey Princess!"
"Yeah?" Courtney asked, looking up at her boyfriend.
"Guess who won Best Couple?" Duncan inquired mischievously. He opened to a page, and there they were…
Best Looking Couple: Duncan Scott and Courtney Valdez
Courtney laughed and let herself fall into Duncan's arms.
Duncan gave her a kiss on the lips before saying, "And guess who won Best Hair?"
Eh…not my best, but certainly not my worst either :P I thought the story was kind of dumb after I typed it up. But I didn't really feel like deleting this, even though it only took me like 20 minutes :\ Ah well, I hope you guys liked it anyways :)
By the way, sorry if it's a little OOC. I just feel kinda fluffy tonight =]
Reviews are always love! :D
