A/N: So this little thing started out as a conversation I had with theboywhofangirled on Tumbr. Both of us, in our homework-loaded stupor, agreed that in place of the Daleks, the Bad Wolf should have destroyed textbooks or even books in general.

Don't take this seriously, this is by far the stupidest thing I have ever written

"What've you done?" the Doctor questioned fearfully, his eyes locked on Rose.

Rose gazed down at him, her eyes brimming with the light of the time vortex. "I looked into the TARDIS. And the TARDIS looked into me."

"You looked into the Time Vortex… Rose, no one's meant to see that."

The Emperor of the Daleks shouted with rage. "This is the abomination!"

His minions rang out with a chorus of "Exterminate!"

One of the creatures fired at Rose, who simply held up her hand. The bolt froze and returned back to the stalk. The Doctor looked at this in amazement.

"I am the Bad Wolf. I create myself. I take the words," Rose waved her hand through the air, "I scatter them in time and space." The words Bad Wolf rose from the wall and flew away. "A message to lead myself here."

"Rose, you've got to stop this. You've got to stop this now," the Doctor cried urgently, although Rose was not fazed. "You've got the entire vortex running through your head! You're gonna burn!"

Rose looks at him suddenly, with tears in her eyes. "I want you safe." The tears fall and leave a trail on her cheeks. "My Doctor. Protected from the false God."

"You cannot hurt me. I am immortal." the ruler spoke, pride in his voice.

"I wish not to harm you, puny mutant," Rose turned back to the screen. "I can see the whole of time and space - every single atom of its existence, and I divide them."

The false God still stood on the screen.

"Rose… what did you do?" the Doctor asked again, his voice breaking.

"Every book, across every galaxy and the universe itself, throughout its history and future, are gone." She stated calmly.

"W-what?"

Rose turned around slowly and walked back into the TARDIS. The Doctor's eyes widened as the ships doors slammed shut. A single tear fell as his home faded in front of him yet again.

Suddenly, the Doctor- in all his big-haired, brown-eyed glory- awoke to his Rose gently shaking him in the TARDIS' pilot seat

"You alrigh'? You were fussin' up a storm! Must've been a nightmare."

The Timelord gawked at her for a few moments, then grabbed her by her shoulders.

"Rose, listen to me. Promise me something," he whispered darkly, his hollow brown eyes boaring right into her scared ones.

"What? What is it, Doctor?"

"If you ever destroy every book in the universe: please please please, just leave the Harry Potter books alone."

He let go of her, hopped up, and shot her a cheesey smile before strolling over to the console.

"So where are we off to next? I thought the 1950's sounded nice. Oh! We could see Elvis!"
