Hello readers! This was written for the 'Suffering from Writer's block' challenge by myrrhmonkey96. My prompt was a letter to my ten year old self. This is what I came up with. More should be on the way, when I get around to writing it. Well Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and reviews would be lovely! So enjoy!
Dear ten year old me,
You're a wizard. Don't act like it's a big surprise because it isn't. It explains all the things that have happened to you. Why Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon hate you so much. (Well that last bit probably not so much but once you learn the story it will.) It explains why, when Aunt Petunia cut your hair and it was horrid, it grew back over night. Why you can understand snakes. And why the glass disappeared at the zoo.
You'll love Hogwarts. It will become your home. Just be careful, you won't have a normal time there, not with Voldemort out to get you, but of course you don't know about him yet. You will in soon enough time.
I'm not suppose to revel to much but I will leave you with this "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live" A very wise man said that. He was probably the greatest wizard there ever was. Try not to question his methods to much, everything will be explained in due time. And always keep this saying in mind. Took me years to understand it. Oh and try not to hate Professor Snape to much.
From your future self,
Harry James Potter
