Waves

The waves crash upon the shore, appearing and disappearing forever on and on. They live forever all but one will remember those waves crashing upon the shore.

Their cycle is followed excessively forming and crashing upon the shore. No matter what, waves will crash upon the shore remembered by mostly all.

Human life is not so fallible, we leap and bound, smile and die. Though it is unfair the waves will be here long after we are gone.

Though ships may sail, buildings stand, shorelines change and people roam, they do not last as long as the waves crashing upon the shore, in war, in peace, in anger, in love, those waves will continue crashing upon the shore.

Unfair or not the waves will continue crashing upon the shore, forever there and forever known the waves will continue crashing upon the shore.

Black Tinged Vines

Your heart is twisting beyond repair, as black tinged vines catch the heart. My mind turns to previous times. Times where shades of grey were locked away and black and white existed only.

All that was needed was a voice to command, to say what is to be done. No politics or intrigue existed there, just simple black and white.

As I peer round other memories I spot hesitation before fatal blow and fear encase thy stony face.

Those black tinged vines, twist further each time when former friends leave the plot to become distant memories.

Black tinged vines strengthen their hold, encasing the heart as vines thicken and mind involves entrapping madness.

The sword ne'er pierced the heart. Yet you died long before, when black tinged vines threaded your heart and stole all good.
