Chapter 1- WHY, CHIRON?
PERCY'S POV
I sighed. "Annabeth, one more time. Please."
"Percy, I already told you 33 times. We have to go where Chiron tells us to go. I can't keep pleading with him on your behalf"
"But it's not fair!"
"Nothing's fair, Seaweed Brain, now come on."
"I hate Chiron." Sighing, we walked down to the lake, me trailing after Annabeth.
Apparently, once Chiron found out Egypt's gods and goddesses were alive as well, it was necessary to go live with them for 6 months, after which the magicians would come live with us for another 6 months.
Which meant, by the end of the year, we would all be fed up of each other. Hooray.
And now, we were due to go to Brooklyn to that…. What was it called? Oh yeah, the 21st nome.
"Hey, Wise Girl?"
"Yes, Percy?"
"How are we getting to Brooklyn?"
"By boat."
"Yes!"
"It's a five-minute trip, Seaweed Brain."
"What? How's that even possible?! I can't even get there so fast."
"Magic, Percy, magic."
"Brilliant."
"Well, shall we?"
Annabeth both jerked our heads towards the person who spoke. It turned out to be…
"Sadie! You startled us!" Annabeth rebuked.
"My pleasure. Now, can we go?"
"Let's go." I said, trying to get this over as fast as possible.
AN-Sorry the chapter's so short. This is my first story, so don't be too harsh, please! Constructive criticism is appreciated!
