-Sealed With a Kiss-
I lay on my favorite construction box on the edge of town waiting for my boyfriend, Oishi Syuichirou.
Oishi Syuichirou. That name embodied by the person who possesses it is all I need and want. When I'm weak, he's always strong. He always says what I need to hear when I need to hear it. He knows how to melt me into a pile of toothpaste by whispering my name: "Eijiā¦"
I always know I can fall into his arms and fall asleep without a care because he'll always take care of me. He may be awkward and embarrassed at times, but that makes him all the more adorable.
I hear footsteps from below, but it's someone from my school that I don't recognize. I turn my face back up to the sky to daydream.
About two weeks previous, I had confessed to him, and to my surprise it had all went well. It had been generally accepted on the tennis team since Fuji and Tezuka had already been dating for a while. I close my eyes to remember the moment when he had said he loved me too.
"Eiji."
I roll over and look past the edge of the metal container and see Oishi's cute face. I'm suddenly glad he doesn't belong to anyone but me.
I offer my hand and help him up. He settles into the spot next to me, so I lean on him; he's like my own personal pillow. He smiles and wraps his arms around me so I feel secure. I tilt my head on his shoulder and we look out at the sunset. We don't need to talk much because each other's company is enough.
Below our spot of escape we can see Tokyo's hustle and bustle and know with quite a large tinge of regret that we should both be heading home soon. The orange, red, and pink sky is turning darker and more vibrant, and city lights are coming on more frequently.
"Eiji?"
"Mm?"
Oishi looks down, tilts my chin up, and pulls me into a gentle kiss.
"I love you."
I smile and kiss him again.
"I love you too, Oishi."
Well? You like? Comments welcome! This is my first GP fic and I'm not a huge fan of this pair but hey, it's fun to write. :)
