Prologue: Kantou, Pandemonium, 2017

Kantou city, formerly known as Kanjou, was once the great jewel of the Kantou region of Japan. Then one night 7 years ago everything was flipped upside down, Kajou had become become a demonic city where the supernatural runs rampant after the city was linked to the destructive ancient power of chaos that had originated from the Abyss.

To make matters worse not only did demons, wurms, and all manner of darkspawn rise from that infernal hellgate, immortal unidentified beings who would later be identified as witches appeared as if materializing from thin air. The japanese government finally made the decision to completely remove the heretical city from its territory leaving Kajou abondoned. Until criminals, illegal immigrants, and unfortunate defaulting debtors, who sought refuge because of their inability to make a living in this corrupt world, these three groups made of the bottom of the social caste on Kantou city. The classes that lorded over them were the prostitutes(laughably), the black market dealers, and the top class... the Yakuza or to be more precise the worst the yakuza had to offer, the ones who were deemed to monstrous even for the one of the most ruthless criminal organizations in the world.

Under their tyrranical rule the city fell even further into madness as rape, murder, theft, organ sellers, human traffickers, child slaves, nothing was looked down upon and everything was permitted. Yet worse than that the yakuza had started to take a special interest in the witches intent on capturing them and breaking them. Soon two traitorous witches had joined the yakuza to ravage their sisters.

They succeded. Beatings. Imprisonment. Rape. Pigs. Eye gouging. Amputation. Inceneration. Watching those that they love go through the same punishments wishing for death and cursing their immortality the witches were on the recieving end of this every day, all day. The fear they felt. The pain, the anger, the humiliating guilty pleasure, and yet they felt something else on a particular occasion they felt something else locked away in their cells at night.

That feeling deep in their chest, it was

HOPE

I hope( see what i just did there;)that those of you who had the strength to go throught that shitstorm of a prologue enjoyed it and i look forward to writing many more chapters of this series the next chapter will be introducing our heroes and i want to give you all a great hint about our main characters.
