This was not turning out according to plan. Rufus frowned, just a little, as he shifted in his seat, overlooking the situation laid out before him. He did not like being at a disadvantage and something would have to be done about it and done soon.

"Do you concede?" his opponent, not bothering to hide a smug smirk, asked, leaning forward slightly.

"What do you think?" Rufus asked, raising one eyebrow. No, he was not in the best position but he refused to surrender.

"If you concede now, I might go easy on you, make it less...difficult," the other pointed out but the offer was only met with a flat look from Rufus.

"I am not giving up. You will have to take me down fighting," Rufus pointed out with an air of arrogance, even when nearly beaten he was still confident.

"Suit yourself..." Tseng smirked and rolled the dice. "But it appears to me you are stuck in Greenland with no way of escape and I have taken down the last of your armies," the Turk pointed out, pointing to the colored board.

"I will," Rufus huffed as he watched the dice roll across the board, blue eyed narrowed. He hated playing Risk with Tseng sometimes, the other knew his strategies and weaknesses so well, and could practically predict what moves he would make. But Rufus did not have the same talent with Tseng and it was starting to frustrate him. "That's what I want you to think," he added, watching Tseng move the game pieces, frowning just a little more now.

"It's what you want me to think? What, do you have invisible pieces on the board or something?" Tseng couldn't help but laugh at how stubborn Rufus being even in the face of defeat. But Rufus did have the ability to get what he wanted even in difficult situations, even if he had to fight dirty, and Tseng knew that.

"No but you'll see," was all Rufus said, frowning more when Tseng laughed at him. Tseng just rolled his eyes and handed the dice to Rufus.

"Just roll already and since you refuse to admit defeat, it seems I will just have to crush you," he teased the blond, enjoying watching the other get huffy in reaction.

"You will regret those words when I crush you instead," Rufus insisted, but frowned more as the dice came to rest on the board and Tseng chuckled as he took a few more of Rufus' pieces off the board.

"I will, hm?" Tseng picked up the dice once more, not bothering to try to hide his grin. "Prove it."

"Oh, I will," Rufus crosses his arms, realizing that the situation was even more dire than before but he refused to lose and let Tseng get away with being so smug.

"I'll believe it when I see it," Tseng laughed as he took his turn, moving the pieces and removing one more of Rufus' before taking the other's hand and placing the dice on his palm. "But from what I see, you are losing and really badly at that...my offer still stands if you want to surrender..."

Rufus looked at the board, looked at Tseng then looked at the board once more before tossing the dice down, purposefully scattering both his and Tseng's pieces in various directions, sending some of them off the board. "....Oops," he smiled up at Tseng almost innocently, shrugging. "I suppose we will never know who would have won now..."

"Oops? That was really quite mature, Rufus ShinRa," Tseng smirked, leaning forward a little more. "But I think you know full well who would have won despite your little...slip of hand."

"Don't make me silence you," Rufus huffed, crossing his arms and Tseng just had to chuckle at that before leaning forward to grab Rufus' wrist to tug the other forward, towards him to claim his victory prize, the remaining pieces falling to the floor, unnoticed.
