Hey guys, I'm back. Sorry it's been over a year since I last did anything for my stories on here. I really was surprised when Misty was at Pallet Town. Those episodes kinda showed more Orangeshipping than Pokéshipping, but maybe it's just how I saw those episodes. At least Misty and May didn't try to fight over Ash. I'm not a big fan of Orangeshipping or Advanceshipping, but I'll tolerate it to some degree. Anywho, I kinda want to take my spin on how they should've parted. I know it's been done a million times, but a girl can dream, can't she?
Cerulean Kiss
Ash walked with Misty to the beginning of the path that led to Cerulean City. Brock, May and Max were back where the path to the Battle Factory branched off. They had already said good-bye to the Water-Pokémon Trainer. Pikachu stood next to his trainer, and Azurill was in it's trainers' arms.
"I guess I'd better go." Misty smiled as she looked at her best human friend.
"You will come to see me in my next tournament, right?" The raven-haired boy asked.
"Yeah." The red-haired girl nodded. She let Azurill onto the ground gently, then hugged Ash. "Promise me you'll call when you reach a town?"
"I promise." Ash hugged Misty back.
The two teens seperated, and Misty picked up her baby Pokémon. She only walked a few steps before turning around and walking back to her best friend. Ash was puzzled, but recieved the answer to his unvoiced question when Misty kissed him on the lips. "Bye."
"Bye Mist." As the red-haired girl walked down the path to Cerulean City, the raven-haired boy touched his mouth. He could feel the lipgloss from her lips.
"Pika?" Pikachu looked as his trainer. The look on Ash's face was one of pure bliss. "Pika-pi?"
"She...she kissed me!" Ash smiled, then looked at the yellow mouse. "You think she likes me?"
"Pika!" Pikachu jumped onto the raven-haired boy's shoulder.
"C'mon, let's get back to the others." The pair went back to where their friends were waiting. Quietly, Ash wispered, "I love you, Misty."
Misty smiled as she reached the Gym. This was the second time she had shown her feelings towards Ash and somehow, she knew that he knew how she felt. "I love you, Ash. Always have, always will, no matter what happens between us."
I hope you guys liked this one-shot. I hope to update more since I've only got two or three classes where I haven't taken finals. I was supposed to graduate this year, but I'm down by at least one credit (English), and possibly another credit and a half. I chose to stay back anyways, since I've barely had any free time with 10 classes and a study hall only in the second semester. Hopefully I can get a few updates on Modern Day Moses (I'm currently working on the 10th chapter, and my home computer doesn't have the internet). I hope the rumors are true about my school having an exchange student from Tokyo, Japan next school year. We haven't had an exchange student since 1980ish, so it'll be cool.
Ja'ne!
