sup guys~ HAHA, I finally found the courage and inspiration to write a SasuSaku. I know, it's super short, as usual. Trust me, I've been trying to write longer stories, but it seems that the longer my stories are, the shittier they get. So yeah...
Disclaimer: Tch, in my dreams.
Really, it was painful enough that he left her – them, she corrected herself. He didn't also need to absolutely ignore her every attempt at a conversation.
All she wanted to so was talk, damn it. She wasn't going to be the crazy, obsessive twelve-year old girl she was before.
She had grown up after all. She was now the best medic nin in Konoha and one of the strongest ninjas in her village, after training under Tsunade for years. She had been thinking about joining the ANBU, but she wasn't so sure yet. She had made more friends (and enemies, sadly), and she was no longer the weak, pathetic girl she had been years before. She was now a woman, a lady with an air of grace and confidence, one who put others' well-being before herself, one who had changed a whole lot.
She also no longer loved the Uchiha. All she really wanted was for them to be friends again, for the good old times with Team 7 to come back.
But as usual, Sasuke was shooting down every attempt she made.
"Sasuke, don't you thi-"
"No."
"Okay."
Sasuke had noticed the lack of the suffix she always used for him, and thought that finally, finally, she stopped loving him. He was thankful for a moment.
But that was before she shrugged and walked away from him, with not so much as a second glance.
A girl could only take so much rejection after all.
He was stunned for a few seconds; he never thought that the day would come when she'd stop annoying him with her constant presence. Somehow, he had gotten used to it and even after he had left, he still thought she'd be there by his side. Her absence was just too plain weird.
Sasuke shook his head. Now was not the time to be thinking of the reason behind Sakura's change in behavior. Now was the time to be celebrating for Kami's sake! He had finally, finally, gotten rid of her.
But for some reason he'd rather not know, there was an unsettling feeling in the pit of his stomach.
So... how was it? (God, I hope it wasn't that bad.)
Please review and leave me some creative criticism. Thank you.
