The house was filled with tension. The two boys sat on their beds with saddened faces.

"Is it really that bad," Edward asked.

The two had done what would be immoral, but this was their way of showing their love.

"I don't think it is, but everyone else will," Jack stated.

"Except for our cousins," Edward said matter of factly.

"Well, of course, they love us like brothers," Jack told his brother.

Maybe, one day they would be excepted, but not today. Their love was kept secret from anyone who would be opposed to their life decision.

"I hope one day we can be excepted."

Edward hugged his crying brother. He knew that it was hard for Jack to hide his love for him.
