A/N: Meh. Let's say I got inspired by Jazyrha's story called: Railroads. (Yes! I lurk your profile!) It just gave me this...spark you know. So Jazyrha, if you think this sounds familiar, than just...dismiss it, because you inspired me:D -wink wink-
This is obviously about Tamaki and his grandmother...
And this is written for a friend. (Convo, read tis, dear.) I hope this will help.
Disclaimer: Don't own. Unbeta'd.
Harsh words may cut your soul.
Walking, walking in the darkness, you are blinded. Harsh words trip you like they are rocks in the ground. With your self-esteem trampled on, you feel pathetic and pitiful. She looks at you, and scoffs.
Worthless, pathetic, unworthy—
You're used to these words; don't look down. A voice whispers in your ear gently: You are nothing of the sort.
Don't stop walking. Keep your head up, smile.
Smile a happy smile.
She'll look at you in disgust. She'll never understand your smile. She'll never understand the smile that reflects your appreciation of the world. You feel a warm smile. One that brings warmth to your cold body. Treasure it, for it lights your way and keeps you warm.
Keep walking that harsh and lonely path. Don't lose your way in the darkness.
Hands up, feel the empty darkness ahead. Grasp nothing solid, but imagine—imagine your hands on a shoulder, a firm shoulder that is pulling you through this slow, torturous stroll.
The harassment keeps coming. Words dumped upon you, one after another. It slows you down, weighs heavy in your mind; a hand seems to be grabbing you back. Persevere through it for another is pulling you forward. Don't worry, it'll be over soon.
She calls you names. Names that you can never repeat. Her words are like sharp knives cutting into your heart, and her tone is like a massive force, shattering your self-confidence into pieces. When you think you're through, patient souls are willing to take the shattered parts and piece them together bit by bit.
Don't feel crushed, don't give up, don't fall.
Your life is a walk in a dark tunnel.
But who says that you have to walk alone?
Stand up, and go on.
Open your eyes, and see.
Your friends are there, smiles on their faces. They say, "You can do it." and "Don't give up."
Harsh words may cut your soul, don't stop walking. Keep your head up, smile. Hands up, feel the shoulders that lead you forward. Don't feel crushed, don't give up, don't fall.
They all stretch forth their hands and smile.
"Let's walk to the end of the tunnel together."
A/N: And...now let me write one about Kyouya and his father--
Ack no. Anyways. Yes, Jazyrha...I was just so inspired by your summary to Railroads. xD It sounded awesome. :D And I had to write something like your summary and then I put it into words.
Ah well. ANYWAYS! People! What do you think?
Until later,
--Demi-kun.
