Changes
I haven't written anything in a period of time. I can't watch Teen Titans as often now, so don't blame me for any mistakes.
Warning: Beware of OOC-ness. This is basically a RobRaeTerra at the start, but it will become a RobRae eventually. Will have some Terra bashing later (No offence to Terra lovers)
Dedicated to: Festering Darkness, a real-life friend, for (Sort of) beta testing the fic
Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans or any characters associated with it
"Azarath Mentrion Zinthos…" Raven chanted. The black aura that surrounded her hands flowed to the stone statue in front of her. Slowly, cracks appeared on the statue.
"When will you finish?" Beast Boy hissed anxiously.
"Almost there." Raven said through gritted teeth to Beast Boy.
Raven concentrated hard. She was going to make this happen…
Crack! The stone broke into two pieces and Terra fell out of her 'coffin' and into Beast Boy's outstretched arms. He caught her and hugged her tightly.
Suddenly, an eerie yellow aura surrounded the unconscious geomancer.
"What's happening?" BB asked worriedly.
"She's alright. Her subconscious is just showing us that she's still alive." Raven answered in a disoriented voice. She floated a bit before gracefully falling to the ground…
Later –
Raven's eyes fluttered open. She blinked a few times to adapt to the light.
It took her moment to acknowledge where she was. She was at the Infirmary Wing of the Titans Tower. She looked to her right, where another person was currently lying on another bed. Judging from all the IVs hooked up to her, Raven assumed that person as Terra.
The door slid open and Robin came in. His worried expression softened a bit when he saw Raven.
"You're awake." He stated as he set a glass of water onto the nightstand, then sat on the plastic chair next to Raven's bed.
"I suppose." Raven said in her usual monotone.
"Are you OK?"
"If you think a throbbing headache and dizziness as OK, then yeah, I guess."
Robin smiled. Now he was a 100 sure that Raven's alright. An awkward silence fell between the two.
"How's she doing?" Raven asked softly, indicating Terra.
"She's dehydrated. We'll need her to stay here for another couple of days for the checkups." Robin replied.
Terra momentarily stirred. She moaned incoherently.
"She wants some water." Raven 'translated'.
"How do you know?"
"I'm a telepath, boy blunder." Raven said, pointing to her head sarcastically.
"Anyway, Raven, what happened back there?" Robin questioned. "It's not like you to suddenly black out."
"To make a long story short, tell a certain green changeling that he's not supposed to disturb me while I'm performing a serious magic ritual." Raven replied, annoyance written across her face.
"He's just anxious about Terra."
"Maybe too anxious."
Silence fell between them again. Robin broke the silence.
"I think I'll let you rest for a bit." Robin said, standing up.
"Yeah, I think I'll have a rest." Raven replied. With that, Robin turned around and left.
A/N: Well, there goes the prologue. If you're readers from my other stories, I apologize (Bows down). I'm going to take some of them off the site. I can't finish them… I'm so sorry. To new readers, please drop me a review. I'm gonna give cookies to you all if you do
