A/N: I'm BACK! To those who read Love is Such A Crazy Thing, this is not a sequel, nor a prequel. New characters, new situation, but I think you'll love it just the same!

Prolog -Is she gone? Are we done?

He ran. He ran as fast as his four legs could push. He wasn't really sure where he was headed, and definitely not sure what was going to happen next. He could hear his pack running through his head, but what they were saying was making no sense. Nothing was making sense. A whimper echoed from his wolf, as he just pushed harder, ran harder, unseeing.

No, not unseeing. Memories assaulted him. Assaulted his senses with everything that had gone wrong. The guilt of what he had done in the past. Anger at what was currently happening. Disappointment of what should have been the future. The will to continue in his true form a fleeting feeling that had once been so important to him.

Sam, you have to pull yourself together- Jareds voice whispered in his head, as everything seemed duller than it actually was.

Sam ran up to her, the anger pounding through his system as she denied him again. What was he to do, this was his mate. He loved her, and would love no one else. It would be this way for the rest of his life, and because she denied him, he would have no one.

"Sam, I can never love you like that!" She yelled once again. His control was lost, the wolf let free. He never meant to do... Never meant to scar her for life.

Sam, everyone knows it was an accident. There was nothing you could do to prevent it- Paul's voice stated clearly in his head, his pack getting closer to him, circling him, trapping in the meeting area. He laid down, putting paws over his nose, as the memories assaulted him.

She stood in the hallway, hugging him. Reminding him that she was his, and that's the only person that she belonged to. He ignored the scent that flowed off her. She must have changed her perfume.

He whimpered.

He watched her walk out the house that they had been living in. It was late, but she had another school meeting. They were getting more frequent lately, but after he put her through hell and back, there was nothing he could do to stop her. He let the guilt be appeased by the fact that he was happy. She was happy. Little did he know...

He panted, tears leaking from the wolfs eyes.

He came home early today! He was let off the site in time for him to get dinner in celebration for their one year anniversary. He ran by the store, grabbing flowers and chocolate, along with the stuff to make her favorite dinner. He smiled as he thought of himself as a bouncing puppy, leaping out the car and in to the house. He opened the door, sounds in the house that he wasn't fully familiar with.

He dropped everything. The unwelcome sight creating a riot throughout his system. His Emily kissing, rubbing, fucking some man. A familiar scent met his nose, one that had clung to her as of late. Sam felt the wolf riot, him losing his control once again. He ran.

Sam laid on the ground, allowing the other wolves to surround him. His pack of two comforting him from the onslaught of pain that was echoing through him. Closing his eyes, he wondered how he'd get through.
