A/N: I love this couple. I love this movie. These two and then Pongo/Perdita were probably my first ships. I still ship them. Hard.

"Roger, I think we're lost." said Anita. Roger shook his head,

"We're not lost! It's just up here! I know it!" he said, grabbing her hand and leading Anita further up the game trail. Anita sighed and followed him.

It had started off as a fairly decent day. She and Roger had decided to camp out by Epping Forest. City had life had been especially hectic and this was their weekend away together. Just them and the dogs who had elected to stay in the tent for reasons unknown. And now here they were, following barely-there trails through woods and neither of them knew where they were going. When they came to a fork in the path and Roger showed no intention of stopping to think, Anita wrenched her wrist from his grasp and stood still. He quickly stopped when he didn't have a hold on her,

"Anita, we need to get back. It's going to start raining and the dogs are on their own and—" Anita walked up to him and put her hands on his cheeks.

"Shush, Roger dear. It's not like we're not used to rain and the dogs will be fine." She said. Roger still looked a little panicked. Anita sighed, gently took his hand in hers, and led them down the left fork of the road. They walked in silence for a moment, Anita maintaining a gentle but firm grasp on his hand. As they reached a clearing, Roger said quietly,

"I'm sorry. About back there." Anita shook her head with a smile and stood on her tiptoes to kiss his nose.

"I understand." She carded her hand through his light hair, "It's been stressful lately. But do you know why it's been a little stressful? Because you're getting noticed, Roger. Your songs are getting picked up and you're getting commissions for songs and it's wonderful. We'll adjust, dear. It's going to be alright." Anita wrapped her arms around his shoulder and Roger pulled her close with his arms around her waist. They stood like that for a moment, just enjoying the steadfast feeling about standing together to weather the storm.

Just then, raindrops began spattering the ground. Anita laughed and grabbed Roger's hand as they ran for cover beneath the nearest biggest tree. By the time they reached it, the rain was coming down harder and harder and they were both soaked. They fell to the ground beneath the huge oak tree, water still managing to fall through the layers of leaves. Roger and Anita could only lay there laughing until they were breathless.

Roger looked over at Anita. She was so beautiful like this, her orange hair soaked to an almost light brown and her eyes sparkling happily. She was so beautiful and he was so lucky to have her. Roger pulled her close to him, proper distances be damned. They were alone in the woods; who would care? Only when Anita's teeth began chattering did he distance himself, and then only to remove his jacket and settle it on her shoulders.

"Roger, it's your jacket. Surely you're cold?" Roger shook his head and tried to stop shivering. Seeing Anita wearing his jacket, covered in his scent, provided all the warmth he needed. Anita smiled up at him and snuggled closer,

"I love you." The words came out muffled by fabric, but Roger still heard them. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her,

"I love you too."
