I do not own anything except the wording of this story and the idea. I do not own Hetalia.
"Why don't they see me?" i think as i drift through the darkness. A loud beeping invades and I open my eyelids to see the sun rising. Sitting up I drag a hand through my messy hair, "Ugh I don't want to go to school today." A light hand rests on my back and a soft voice speaks, "Come on, you can make it another day." I turn to look at my best friend, Jason who had died last year. His spirit hung around to watch out for me. He was always a caring person with calming green eyes and soft brown messy hair. I never saw spirits except for him after he got hit by that car. "Fine. It would be easier if you didn't save me." I sigh and stand up to get ready, "You deserved to live more than I did." Slowly a tear trickles down my cheek. Today it's his death anniversary.
I make it to school with Jason beside me. "You're so weird that nobody likes you." "Ya you can go back to rotting in your room with all your imaginary friends." the popular girls say as i walk by. It was normal for them to say that kind of shit so i pass it by. Nothing really gets to my heart anymore because of the chipping it did at first. Today was different though. Some of the jocks came up around noon and blocked me off from going to the classroom to eat in there. "Loser. It should have been you to get hit and not him." one said and slapped me "Ya everybody around you always dies or moves away." A pang started in my chest. It was true that my family died in a fire when i was small but I had grown okay with it. But now my heart was dying.
Running from their grasps, i make it to the courtyard where seniors normally have lunch if it were not pouring out. I collapse to my knees and start crying. Gasps come from my mouth as the tears flow down with the rain. "Don't listen to those jerks. Personally i think you're really awesome." "Ya dude! You're totally my hero!" voices say from in front of me. My head moves up quickly and there are all the countries from Hetalia. "Please don't be sad. We're all here for you love." An English accent says calmly. Everyone was there. America, Prussia, England, Canada, France, Spain, Romano and so many others with love in their hearts. "No matter what," America starts and Canada finishes, "We will always love you." Germany "Even when others don't" Italy "We will always be in your heart with you!" Romano "So don't feel lonely" France "Or ugly" Hungary "Because you're beautiful" America "And don't let anyone tell you different"
A smile graces my face as they disappear into the dark of rain, but not without a note or everything they said and a small picture of a heart and all their names including mine. "Thank you"
