A.N-Cenfigen means Jealousy in Welsh. I don't know why I chose that title.

"Hey, Hey Jack! I knew it! Told you dragons were rea—-"

Her body froze as her voice hitched. That crooked smile that played on her face slowly dropped as her teal eyes widened.

"—…Real." She managed to cough out, her voice now quieter than before.

She was standing a few feet away from them, watching him laugh at her comments over something. Her copy of 'Dragons and Mythical creatures' was slowly dropping from her hand.

This, she did not expect.

But it should've been expected.

HE was a Slytherin while she was a Gryffindor. Besides, she doesn't even have the right to call him 'her's'. Her heart sank a little as she realised their friendship was nothing more than a platonic love.

A few fiery strands strayed near her right eye, but she did not bother to brush it away. She was too pre-occupied watching Jack talk to the pretty girl from Ravenclaw.

Rapunzel was her name.

She was the complete of opposite of Merida. Instead of getting red bushy hair that reminded people of a shrub, she has that golden flowing hair that Merida would die for. Rapunzel was sweet, innocent and curious unlike Merida, who was rowdy and likes to put up a fight. No wonder Jack would fall for her.

She felt like a fool, actually. For falling for the Slytherin's seeker. Oh her foolish maiden heart would swoon for the smirks he gives her.

As her cardboard-covered book fell to the ground, it made her snap out of her thoughts and also made the pair notice her.

"Bushy-hair!" Jack smiled, walking towards her as she frantically picked her one-tonne book out of the ground. To her despair, Rapunzel followed.

"Calling her 'bushy-hair' isn't nice at all, Jack…" Rapunzel sighed at him.

Merida muttered a small 'yeah' only to be given a raised eyebrow by the boy.

"Well…" He started, picking up her copy of 'Dragons and Mythical Creatures' before Merida. "How 'bout 'princess' then? You did tell me that you came from a rich family…" Ending it with a smirk, he looked up to her for approval only to find her giving out a bewildered expression.

Almost looking like she was about to cry.

"I-It's Merida." She hissed, snatching the book from his grasp. "And I was about to show you something extraordinary, Frost. But it seems like you won't need my companyanymoresobye."

Her last words were obviously rushed as she quickly ran to the end of the corridor, her bottom lip trembling and feeling like a tear escaped.

As her legs lead her to who know where, she panted as she managed to get away from them, in an instant, her bottom sat down on the dirty concrete of the castle, the copy of 'Dragons and Mythical Creatures' was next to her.

Her knees were held against her chest and her head burying on her knees, she quietly sobbed. It was a good thing that her fiery locks were everywhere, that way, it hid her face from the world.

"Why do I even bother… Jack you're an idiot…" She muttered out, the trail of tears that departed from her eyes was now arriving on the corner of her mouth, making her able to taste the saltiness of her misery. Yuck. "…I was going to show you that dragons do exist.. And I will finally beat you in an argument…"

Little did the girl know that a certain silver-haired boy was running through the corridors of Hogwarts, looking for her.
