Two women, one in blue, and one in black, stood across each other in the dark and gloomy castle of Kiamo Ko.
"Glinda, take this book for me... Don't try to clear my name. Please... It's the only way... It's up to you now..." Elphaba told her best friend, handing her the Grimmerie, a book of spells that she had taken from the Wizard.
Galinda Upland, now known as Glinda the Good, or the Good Witch of the South, and Elphaba Thropp, the Wicked Witch of the West, still cared for one another, even after all these years.
"You have meant so, so much to me over all these years, ever since we had met each other at Shiz University. I thank you so much for being my friend, even though it was hard for us to get along in the beginning. During that dance at the Ozdust, when our eyes met, instantly, I felt a connection. Despite our differences, it felt like destiny had brought us together." the Good Witch replies sincerely.
"I feel the same way. You have changed me, just because you were my friend."
"Yes. I couldn't agree more. Because I knew you, I've truly been changed for good."
The two of them embraced. They would never see one another again.
